  1. @Sir0Tek, Let me just rephrase my question, what I really need right now is a RAM, I am not super concerned with the speed. What I am concerned is that if I buy a RAM and its not even mentioned on the official support list. Would that RAM worked or not? What I am just afraid that I paid bucks for the ram and shipping and all only to find out that the RAM itself wouldn't even boot my PC just as it did when I put my 2x8 RAM on my mobo. So I am basically looking for a replacement ASAP as I cannot continue to do work on my machine with 8gb.
  2. @Sir0Tek, Doing a quick check, F4-3200C16D-32GTZKW is not even listed. Both on 1x00 and 2x00 even on the variants of 3x00. Its really hard to find RAM suitable for Ryzen platform, with specific product number its really hard for me pick product already available on the local market. What if I also upgrade my mobo?
  3. @Sir0Tek Hi, Thanks for the response. The model serial number is not listed on Ryzen 1X00 on the mobo support page, esp the 32gb counterparts. Does that also mean if doesn't run on the xmp-support speed means the RAM wouldn't even work at all? I just needed a RAM replacement ASAP. My machine is running right now on a 8gb RAM and its unbearable.
  4. Hi, So I went to MSI B350m Mortar page and went to check for RAM compatibility. So when I was shopping for RAM, I checked if the product exists on this page. One of the stick on my 2x 16gb has failed and currently running on 8gb. I wanted to replace my RAM but I am not sure if I can disregard the compatibility list and just buy ram that has the supported ram speed? While I am at this predicament, I looking forward to upgrade from 16gb to 32gb and here is what I found. This is not listed on my mobo site. Would I be fine? Thanks!!
  5. @firelighter487 i tried my 1 ram stick on each slot labeled as dimma 1 2 3 4. if i tried both sticks on dimma 2 and 4. it doesnt work. only my 1st ram works on dimma 1.

  7. I am just wondering, could there be a problem in my motherboard? Maybe this is just a symptom of something else...
  8. I just watched a video on youtube on how to do this. Let me try to reset it first, if it didn't work, I'll go buy a new battery.
  9. The sad thing is, I don't have the this small cap thing to do the JBAT1 thing. I guess I'll just buy a new one today and see if it works.
  10. I haven't thought of that, this motherboard is brandnew and I just had this machine since April.
  11. Hi guys, My machine doesn't save date and time when I shut down. For example I turned off the computer around 9:45 PM. When I turn the computer on the next morning the date and time says 10:38 PM. Before that, I notice a strange behavior when booting up, the motherboard screen appears to be loading and after that it shuts down itself. I didn't see any error on the screen, it just shuts down. I even have to turn it on again. I tried to remove the cmos battery. I haven't grounded the JBAT1 section to reset the BIOS as I don't have the cap to do this. I don't know where to start from here really. Any ideas?
  12. @darkstar123 I am using genymotion now. Though, I really wanted to use Android Studio's emulator. I've heard you can run it on linux and it runs fast using the armeabi images.
  13. Alright, thanks for the help guys! Turns out, that was causing it, I just disabled that feature (Hyper-V) and it now works fine!!! It is such a relief to know that Ryzen support Virtualization as some of the tools I used failed to launch. I just checked the specs page again and it says it support it. Thank you very much!
  14. Alright, finally, something make sense, I have it enabled in Windows features, I have SVM enabled, check if virtualization is on, and then still the same. I also check if Hyper-V Virtual Hardware management is running and it is.
  15. Jeez, I don't understand you guys, I need to run emulator on my machine and it says it can't. How can I fix this? Searching the web didn't post any yields about this topic either.
