  1. Would use as a media centre / game streaming. Awesome.
  2. Cool. That must be quite handy if your out and about.
  3. Hi Found this article on wired: http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2014-01/24/telefonica-bewifi Scheme named BeWifi would let you share your bandwidth with neighbours when your not using it. Would be awesome to use this if you didn't need additional hardware. Lots of places just don't invest in infrastructure so we're stuck with terrible conections. I'm guessing it would be an opt in thing, and lots of people just wouldn't bother.
  4. Hi, I've never bit-coin mined myself, although it interests me. I was just thinking, why couldn't they incorporate the process of bit coin mining with other processes that could benefit everyone. For example, while still keeping transactions secure could Folding be incorporated, of even something like SETI research. If people are solving maths problems for money, why cant they solve problems that we would all benefit from? Are there limitations?
  5. Thats the thing. I can't help to hit it sometimes. I get frustrated easily. Maybe its just best to keep buying cheapo dell keyboards that do the job.
  6. It was a badly made membrane keyboard, from some very un-renowned company. Lots of people saying k70. Ill check that one out.
  7. Hi, I recently broke my keyboards space bar. I have a bad habit of smashing my desk when league of legends bullish*ts me Can anyone recommend a good sturdy, well build keyboard, mechanical or membrane. I don't suppose some keyboards have replaceable mechanisms?
  8. Wow 780 looks so much nicer than the 770 when installed. The yellow accents are great. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the fast responses guys. I'm sure that adapter will work, thanks. But these damn measurements will confuse me forever,
  10. Hi, Does anyone know if its possible to mount a 3.9" Card reader (that i pulled of of my old Dell) and mount it onto a disk drive bay on my Corsair 300r. What i need really is some sort of mounting adapter that fits nicely into a disk drive slot, but can be used to hold a 3.9" (10cm) drive and fill up the gap so dust and air wont get in. > The Card reader does actually fit into a HDD mounting tray, but that would be very inconvenient being inside the case.
  11. Dude this is already 10x better than my A Level product design piece I made in Sixth Form. Cant wait to see the result!
  12. Like Bluejay said, there should be an option in the Nvidia Control Panel to "Let the application decide" if you want V-Sync on or not.
  13. I tried to play today, after the latest PC patch, and the game just crashed after 3 mins. Battle-log was terribly glitchy also; not letting me join servers for no apparent reason.
  14. I think longer, and more in depth look at products would be much better. Although unboxings are enjoyable, as an audience we don't really learn much; apart from how dense the packaging foam is of course. I'd think it would be really cool if you got to use the products in real world scenarios and tell us the things a test bench can't. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  15. Hello again, Waited a few weeks and managed to pick up the Asus GTX 650 from my local electronics store for just £50 (Christmas sales ftw). Since I mainly play MMO's, OpenGl browser games and League of Legends; I though this cheaper card would suite my first build nicely. Having some money spare I then looked for PSU's, and bought a Corsair cx 500W. I'm very impressed with the build quality of these. They have a mesh like protection on the larger wires, much better than the crappy dell one. Dat airflow Excuse the horrible cabling, this is my first time, not to mention this case was horrible to work with. Took me almost an hour with a hammer to get the old PSU out. It was almost riveted to the metal housing. There's actually no routing space behind the motherboard either. If you remove the other side panel there's only about 2-3mm until the back plate. Oh, and if your wondering, the HDD is attached to the side because there is no Hard drive bay, only optical bays. Next upgrade will be the case. Not much ventilation on these dell boxes (or cabling space) , and the built in fans are extremely small.
