I remember a long time ago a joke/story going around about if Microsoft made cars, (Actually here it is: http://www.hcs.harvard.edu/pnw/microsoftjoke.htm) and I can't help but think how the same could be used on Apple now.  In light of the long list of problems they've had over the last many months, I have to assume the Apple Car would function like this:
You can open it without the key and hack into any system function by pulling on the locked door handle 3 times If it encounters a bump or gets rained on, it just stops working Honestly it is meme worthy at this point

Holy crap. My friend just did this to someone and it put the phone into a boot loop for 20+ minutes then when the phone eventually came on it was factory reset and was sitting at the "Hello" screen

To be fair this is a problem unique to Apple. I've never heard of an android phone or a windows PC crashing because of a character. I've heard it multiple times about Apple and have experienced it once.

As to not experiencing it that kinda makes sense. You would have to have someone send you a specific indian character. Unless you're Indian that chance seem low that someone would even know about that character let alone use it. That doesn't mean it's not a serious issue. Something as simple as a character shouldn't crash 3 different OSs and pretty much brick parts of apps.

Hey now did you ever consider that maybe the users were just holding their phones incorrectly while viewing the character?

You can, because Intel allegedly knows about these vulnerabilities since June, but 1) didn't fix upcoming processors (coffee lake and later) on the hardware level and 2) didn't disclose both the vulnerability or whether they were working on a fix since then. They waited quite a while (more than 6 months), and while it makes sense to not disclose the vulnerability until a fix is underway so as to not call the attention of criminal minds into it, Intel didn't say anything at all.

And the first fix they deployed was a buggy mess that cause computers to crash everywhere.

So some argument can be made that they were negligent.

Windows Store is embedded in to Windows 10 but that closed beta can only be installed from the Windows Store, something I will not use unless AOE4 is AMAZING. I was so excited to play definitive edition I signed right up before checking any details about it, got that email and was even more excited until half way through reading it.

"Open the Windows 10 Store", well then I guess I won't be participating in your closed Beta then.

AMD (specifically CEO Lisa Su and CFO Devinder Kumar) were slapped with a  lawsuit recently.  I even made a post about it, though that one seems more like a greedy day trader who got burned and wanted to capitalize on the Spectre issue.

Yeah in your opinion. I Have a GTX 1080 But that doesn't mean there is not a market of people who buy pcs to play Lol Over watch CS GO Rainbow 6. Thoese and many other games will run on this. and play the occasional Harder to run title at really low settings for the 1 or 2 of them they try out.  There is a market here its just not us.

They actually did an embarrassing coverage of the topics. They couldn't even get the facts they were discussing straight (just compare their account of the incident with the information in this thread).
Not to mention they have a history of being assholes towards AdoreTV around the idea of "we have a bigger channel, so who cares about this Irish dude.. oh, Scottish? it's all the same!".

If anything, I have seen wild overreactions by "established youtubers" to fairly harmless mentions in his videos. Like he saying "results form channel A don't match those in channel B" (which was a fact), and some of the involved channels basically responding with more or less "how does this lazy mr. nobody dare to challenge my methodology". As an incomplete example, when Coffe Lake launched there were some inconsistent reviews across channels, which was eventually mentioned by AdoreTV. The example is incomplete because I don't remember who it was, but some of the usual suspects reacted with half aggressive, half mocking comments towards him, and how they had all this experience in benchamrking, what does this dude have, he doesn't even run his own benchmarks, etc. But the inconsistency was a fact, and required no incompetence from anyone to be explained: for instance, Linus later did a followup (or was it in the WAN show, can't remember) explaining how they dug further on the issue and it turned out to be a difference in how motherboards handle "Multi-Core Enhancement". (Then he made a strange spin into Asus advertorial, as if the conclusion somehow was that benchmarking with Asus was better ). In any case, I don't know if Linus even ever heard about AdoreTV, but one way or another he noticed the discrepancies across reviewers, investigated the issue, found an explanation. End of story. Meawhile, others were worrying that apparently someone dared to question the size of their epeen or something like that.
I see a lot of people trying to look at this as professional behavior vs. a drama-loving amateur, but in my opinion they underestimate the insider vs. outsider factor: basically, how some youtubers take his comments differently than they would if they came from anyone "in the tech community" (euphemism for circle-jerking clique).
It seems to me that both users in this threads and youtubers getting pissed at him focus too little on what's being told and too much on who's telling it.

XenosTech reacted to Misanthrope in Office 2019 to support Windows 10 ONLY (but also MacOS)
I've been working with Excel 2007 since well, 2007. Our current image still has 2013 because nobody has bothered to update and honestly I could use all of my workbooks and macros just fine with 2007 still. I had previous jobs in which extensive pivots were needed so 2013 and 16 were much better at that but it's still nothing game breaking.

So while in principle this is a bit bad most offices won't be encouraged to upgrade to 2019 because frankly I don't think most people would need to. But then again if there's a game changing change on Excel 2019 it could be very useful and I'd request it for sure if it mean a far more robust engine to handle large data sets without busting out an external database for example, that'd be super fucking useful.
