  1. lol 1.56V. seems a bit high. should be able to get 4.7-4.8 with that voltage. the voltage is fine as long as your cooler can keep up.
  2. push for higher multiplier. . after you figure out highest core speed, next optimize hyper transport and ram
  3. did you order direct from gskill? my guess is your retailer put those bands on
  4. one thing to try load optimized defaults in the bios just set vcore to 1.4V and 44x on the multi leave power settings on auto try again if no luck try disabling power features one at a time and see if your score scales higher at 44x my 8120 ran like donkey as well.
  5. do you have the serial number of the old board? any chance they sent you back your old board? seems like you have done all of the logical troubleshooting including testing the ram and cpu in another board. board seems to be faulty last thing to try is remove the battery and leave board unplugged for 10-15 minutes and try again.
  6. can you install core temp and monitor that while the test runs? all cores should be at 100% you are at least 100 points behind where you should be for that clock
  7. very solid board. will oc the 5650 with ease
  8. run the test with cpuz open right click cpuz while the test runs see if all cores clock up to 4.4ghz and stay there
  9. still fastest sub on the forum for 12 thread sandy (where do my friend go, i wanted to chat )
  10. 4460 is a shit chip, not sure why it gets so many recommendations bob... i just dont know. i smoke it with a $100.00 2500k on stock cooler
  11. i had a i5 4460 i just sold. its a complete waste tbh. an qx9650 performs as well if your lga 1150 board does not support enhanced turbo. mind you the qx 9650 need to be overclocked to 4.5ghz but thats not problem for me
  12. here is how my gamin computer performs. i will be going to a much more powerful 8 core amd soon.
  13. have you optimized your uncore? for r15 + 1366 core speed + uncore + memory all make a huge difference
  14. i think all the buy\sell discussions need to be kept to the classified section. send me a pm if you like. i do not have any lga 1150 i5s, no sorry
  15. thats not too bad. 4.4-4.5ghz is the sweet spot for gaming or productivity. its not like your missing out on a whole lot when it comes to real world performance. lends a shoulder to cry on....cant win em all champ
  16. that sux. i have had good luck with vietnam chips. most of them do 4.6-4.8 at 1.3V. if you really need 1.4v for a stable 4.6 oc your chip is below avg IMO. for a vietnam DC chip.
  17. i like this one. supports ddr3. cheap. Sky oc http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157652&cm_re=z170_k4-_-13-157-652-_-Product
