Display port or HDMI?

Have you tried to update the bios.

Does the system shutdown completely or does the screen just go black

I am looking for a portable laptop that I can take on a airplane but still has a dedicated gpu with a decent number of cuda or stream processors that has a good keyboard. I will be using it for c c++ java and opencl.
