  1. it is very nice. there is less screen tearing and every thing is more smooth
  2. k, thanks. i am done on this thread i learned what needed to.
  3. the Ubisoft pc games on PC are notoriously bad. i would test a newer/ different game
  4. i thought that the temps jumping around that much at low load was weird
  5. i play starcraft 2 counter strike: G O and DOOM so they are not very intensive
  6. k i was just wondering if the idle temps were weird. thanks
  7. this will just be something i am saving for i dont really have anything to say other than it has to be less than 650$ USD
  8. i have a Nvidia 1080 but the lag introduced with gsync or freesync is insane so idk if i will be using it
  9. not pro work just some content creation and better looking games
  10. you should try unplugging your keyboard and see if that does it and if it does get a better keyboard
  11. i have a not that great cheepo 1080p 144hz monitor and i need a new one. my monitor is fine but the screen tearing is a catastrophe and i would like something more than 1080p. i want a 1440p 120 hz or more with good black levels and color accuracy or a ultra wide 1440p monitor with the same requirements. do you guys know of any good options?
  12. depending on the power supply you will need a new one of those if you want a really good gpu. a 1060 could be good if you have the money for it but i would not go higher than that on that processor if you are going to be playing more cpu bound games
  13. i have a i5 6600k OCed to 4.4 or 4.5 at 1.35 volts on a 120 mm AIO watercooler and my cpu temps seem to be a little weird. when i am doing nothing it sits around 28 c but when i watch a stream it goes up to 33 and jumps up to 44 and than goes back down instantly. but if it is under gaming load like in DOOM it stays around low 60s to mid 60s and very stable. the low "idle" temps seem odd and i dont know if it is the cooler or a feature of the 6600k, i am pretty new to the PC scene
  14. i want to do some live streaming but i dont know whether or not to get the 1700x or 7700k
