  1. Guess I will just go give it a try. Thanks.
  2. Hi, thanks for the reply. This is really interesting.. I guess I’m only needing an SPDIF output because Im only consuming audio, I’m not trying to produce any.. I’m still looking into their Soundblaster Pro Studio to look for any solution towards that. I found that they have special feature such as Smart Volume (compression) and something called ‘Play stereo mix using digital output’ feature. Which allows us to add eq/effects into digital output. Do you have any experience with this and mind sharing some?
  3. Hi, just wanted to know if there is any internal pcie soundcard that provides ‘equalizable’ digital output through SPDIF so that I can feed it to my existing dac&amp stack? Any input and suggestion is appreciated. It doesn’t need to be soundcard but it must be EQ-able digital output.
  4. I understand now sir, I’m getting myself an Asus Xonar SE.
  5. I'm sorry for not stating clearly, but the current sound driver im using is provided by Fiio as I have a Fiio DAC, and Fiio driver doesn't have Loudness Equalization feature. I tried the custom driver you recommended. It's working fine on my realtek onboard dac but no luck with the Fiio driver.
  6. Thank you very much, will know into it.
  7. That is correct, I've another audiophile grade DAC where I use it for music/movie entertainment. But for gaming, I have a preference on the Realtek driver's loudness equalization feature. My onboard soundcard is not very good that is why I'm getting an external one. Maybe you happen to know other audio driver which provides the same loudness equalization/normalization feature from Realtek?
  8. May I know what is the name of the product?
  9. We all know there is a lot of motherboards in the market with a pre-installed Realtek DAC. My question here is, is there any external Realtek DAC out there that I can purchase. Or more ridiculously is it possible to scrap out the Realtek DAC from a motherboard and DIY an external Realtek DAC? Any answers will be appreciated.
