yes you wil keep your files, even if its the same drive. if you have a C and D partion on 1 disk, you can format the C part of the disk and the D part is still intact.

That's either a motherboard or power supply issue, if possible test a new PSU in it. If it's still doing it with a new PSU make sure to check the ram and CPU to make sure they are seated correctly. If everything is  correctly seated and installed and it still does it with a new PSU then I would say the motherboard is the culprit. Check seating and the PSU first though as to me it looks like it might just be a bad PSU.

It will probably work... since windows 8, the windows detects hardware changes, and download new drivers... but... I don't advice you to do it, because it keeps a lot of sh*ty drivers on the drive... and stability can be compromised.

Anyway... a backup will not hurt you!

1 - backup the data to another drive.
    2 - make the change
    on failure
3 - clean install and transfer data from the backup

    Hope it helps!

Yes. If all you do is swap your CPU and mobo and you're running Windows 10, you can just connect everything back up and Windows will figure out the drivers by itself. If you have any problems, you can do a soft reset (reinstall Windows and lose your programs, but keep your files and get a list of what you'll need to reinstall) and that will solve them.
If you're running an older version of Windows, things get more complicated.

    Yes and no.

You should always reinstall windows when doing this to avoid any immediate or future issues. When you do this just backup your files to an external storage device and once done reinstall your programs and copy over the files you have backed up. There are plenty of programs to assist you with this if you don't want to copy and paste yourself.

its usually only held on with like 6 clips on the inside of the case
usually you can just pull from the bottom and take it off

you may have to pull off both side panels first to reach the clips IF its not easy

I agree. Furthermore, it seems that the amd a4-1250 only supports 1333Mhz RAM, so you could only upgrade capacity, not speed.

Upgrading RAM would help in multitasking but if u want faster boot time and opening of apps I would strongly suggest you to get an SSD... it will give a new life to your computer

Using the iGPU with shared RAM, it is possible that you would benefit from more, faster RAM, and is one of the few things you can upgrade in a laptop. But I would check for compatibility, as @cjm_036653 suggests it may be limited to 1333MHz (i.e., you want to know if that's the official speed, but can handle faster, or if whatever you do, it will be 1333 max).
