  2. My bad, anyways, the X470 Taichi has 16 VRMs, which is not bad as well
  3. I had really good luck with PowerColor. I had their Devil13 card and was absolutely the best card I've had in years back then, and killer looking. Now I have a gaming PC for my son and runs on a Red Devil 580, that thing is super quiet and I did manage to overclock the GPU all the way to 1500Mhz. Very happy with them, even had a question on support on the Red Devil club (members only) and they replied in less than 24hrs.
  4. The X370 Pro 4 is now at really good price, worth checking it out.
  5. will be really hard for you to have a decent "gaming" / work PC with 600CAD. Minimum I would do would be like this PCPartPicker part list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/xfyj29 Price breakdown by merchant: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/xfyj29/by_merchant/ CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2400G 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor ($204.95 @ shopRBC) Motherboard: ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($109.05 @ Vuugo) Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($227.99 @ Newegg Canada) Storage: Team - L5 LITE 3D 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($76.99 @ Newegg Canada) Storage: Hitachi - 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($128.89 @ Newegg Canada Marketplace) Case: Thermaltake - Versa H21 Window ATX Mid Tower Case ($51.24 @ Newegg Canada) Power Supply: EVGA - BQ 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($59.99 @ Amazon Canada) Total: $859.10 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-05-05 10:26 EDT-0400
  6. Also keep in mind, the AM4 motherboards probably will last longer and will be compatible with the next gen Zen.
  7. This would be plenty... PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/n3yj29 Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/n3yj29/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor ($178.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: ASRock - B360M-HDV Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($73.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($182.98 @ Newegg) Storage: Kingston - A400 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($41.50 @ Newegg) Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.79 @ OutletPC) Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING Video Card ($309.99 @ Adorama) Case: NZXT - S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($59.99 @ SuperBiiz) Power Supply: EVGA - 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply ($37.99 @ SuperBiiz) Total: $945.12 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-05-05 10:23 EDT-0400
  8. One is locked and the other is unlocked. Meaning one you can overclock using a Z motherboard and the other you would be fine buying a H or B chipset motherboard. Check out the Extreme 4 if you go with the 8700K and the H370 Performance. good values.
  9. Get a asus or asrock for that rig, they are both better than MSI. Their bios are way superior..
  10. You def dont want to have a B350 with such high end CPU. There's now a X370 Pro4 available if your on budget, but I would suggest something better if you overclock.
  11. For that price of the motherboard I would go with the taichi, just a bit more expensive but def. better.
  12. Also, just add a Hyper cooler there and try get more clocks from the Vega and cpu.
  13. Nothing wrong there for sure. Just if you overclock would grab the B350 Pro4 instead.
