  1. I did do this after changing the mobo, i'll double check it though. The same issue persists with the iGPU but with the gigabyte mobo
  2. There is a 2tb WD m.2 and a 500gb ssd - Raid 0 with windows on the M.2. I tried multiple times to wipe the drive before installing windows. I'll try those a see if anything changes soon
  3. Hello, I'm really lost now. I just built my finance's PC with the following parts: CPU - Ryzen 5 7600 MOBO: ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI RAM: Corsair Vengence 32GB DRR5 (running at 4800MHZ) GPU: Gigabyte 3060 PSU: EVGA 850W 80+ GOLD THE PROBLEM: So, to condense this easily; the PC will boot up fine with no issues. When it gets to the login screen or RIGHT after logging into windows, the PC will freeze and have no response. Forcing me to hit the power button to turn off the PC or to restart the PC. Upon restarting the same thing will happen, sometimes it's immediate other times I get further. I'm just stuck at what this could possibly be. To be clear, once the system is stable enough to run windows. There is generally not a problem at all with using the PC. No stutters gaming, no frame drops, no power loss, nothing out of the ordinary and it will run fine endlessly it seems. Especially playing Baldur's Gate at higher settings. WHAT I'VE DONE TO TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM: Installed a new motherboard (previous one was a gigabyte MOBO) 2 fresh installs of Windows 11 DDU - to remove any old graphics drivers Removed any old drivers found in Device Manager Swapped RAM stick positions BIOS was just updated to the latest version (version 2413) with the same issue. Checked event logger - nothing other than "windows experienced a sudden power loss" when I turned off the PC. POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS??: The only things I could try from here is the following: Get a new CPU to see if that fixes the problem Turn of Memory context restore (in the event that there is a issue with mem training??) Possibly a new PSU (which I highly doubt is the problem since gaming is literally no issue at all) Unplugging front panel connectors?? AGAIN ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT I'M JUST STUCK AND NOT SURE WHERE TO GO FROM HERE.
  4. I'm looking to replace my broken Micca Orgien+ that would ideally have a mic port so that I can just plug my Sennheiser PC37X up to. I'm also looking for something with just a good audio experience as well and wanted some opinions on what I found below: Schiit Hel : https://www.schiit.com/products/hel-1 Mayflower Acr MK2: https://mayflowerelectronics.com/arc-mk2/ Mayflower Objective2 and ODAC Rev. B DAC & Amplifier: https://mayflowerelectronics.com/objective2-and-odac-rev-b-dac-amplifier/ Open to other suggestions as well. Thanks!
  5. sorry for the late reply, but yes everything that I could possibly update is updated.
  6. it is, something like 32 devices. But i haven't encountered the problem until AFTER i upgraded my MOBO I'll look into the Static IP but i've done the QoS but i'll look at it again
  7. so funny thing, I actually did that and did a fresh install of windows 11 problem still there and redownloaded and reinstalled ethernet drivers from intel and Asus before getting the ethernet TP Link Card
  8. I have spectrum but a dedicated router which is a Asus RT-AX68U and there is not switches in between. The cable is run is probably about 10-20 feet? Yes I have tried a new cable and the same result.
  9. Hi, I got a Asus B550-F gaming Wifi with the Intel I225-V ethernet that also had problems. So I bought a ethernet card (TP Link 2.5G Ethernet Card) and I encounter the same problem. I've come to figure out that if I play ANY game, whether it's minecraft, runescape, valorant, overwatch, or anything else. The main issue here is that my ethernet keeps disconnecting for at random for a few seconds then automatically reconnets shortly after. This problem is made worse if I turn off my wifi as I will take a couple of minutes to reconnect. The other weird thing to note is that after I've had my PC is games running for a little bit, the problem seems to go away and I don't have a issue keeping connected to my ethernet. There isn't any issue logs in event viewer that show up for this disconnecting either. I'm really stuck on what could be driving this issue and I could just use some pointers.
  10. I've got a ASUS B350-F Strix with the latest BIOS supporting my Ryzen 5600. I was wondering if there was any benefit/reason for me to upgrade my MOBO?
  11. A b350-f gaming from ASUS I was gonna upgrade later
  12. What is the better CPU for the 3070 that I just got? the 5600 is really tempting to get considering it is 160 now. I’m coming from the 1600 any suggestions?
  13. I was going to upgrade my cpu and mobo to a 5600 or 5600x from a R5 1600 and give my friend the old mobo and cpu combo for him to start to build his PC. Is there any combos out there that are worth it? Should i just go with the 5600x since it's on like $20 more? Or should i wait and save my money to get a GPU upgrade from a 1070ti?
  14. I have a ryzen 5 1600 (stock, with a stock cooler atm) and I have MSI Titanium 1070ti (stock). I was trying to play both CS:GO and Valorant at 1440p, but the FPS was jumping all over the place and causing the game to get near unplayable at times. I felt like I had plenty of FPS, but when it came to getting into fights with other players it felt like the FPS just tanked. This still happened but not as bad when I went to 1080p resolution. I did notice that the CPU was at 80%+ utilization and GPU would hover in between 48%-60% utilization. Also, I only had discord, spotify, and two tabs in google chrome open which i've done before and had no problems Would a fresh install of graphic drivers help like a DDU? Or even just reinstalling both games? Stumped on this one.
  15. For the most part it does, I just noticed in a lot of games with my new 1440p monitor it hasn't been performing that well. Maybe I just need to drop the resolution. Or DDU and do a fresh install of drivers since I haven't done that in years It's the regular 1600.
  16. Hi all, My specs currently are: CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 (non-OC'd) Cooler: stock cooler (getting air cooler soon) MOBO: Asus B350-F Gaming RAM: 16 GB G skill trident z RBG DDR4-3000 GPU: MSI 1070ti Titanium 8GB PSU: EVGA 550W 80+ Gold My question is, since you can find Ryzen 5 5600X for $200. Should I upgrade my CPU and MOBO? Or should I wait, Overclock my CPU and save up the money to buy a better graphics card like a 2070 or a 3070? I'm under the impression that if I will have to upgrade my GPU, I will need a better Power Supply. Thanks!
  17. do you know how long it would take to get the loaner? Also, do you know if a b450 mobo would work?
  18. Hi all, So I'm building a new PC with a Ryzen 5 5500G and encountered some issues. I tried to post with corsair vengeance RAM and got a screen with just a flashing white line and nothing else. I figured this might happen as I knew that I was probably going to have to update the BIOS to get the APU working. I used parts that I new worked, which were both ryzen 5 1600 and 2600 with Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM (I DID TRY TO USE THE NEW RAM) and a 1060 Asus Strix GPU. HOWEVER, these parts resulted with no post at all. I check all connections and such and everything was where it should be. Could it just be a dead mobo? I don't think that's the case since I got a screen with the 5500G. Any help would be great.
  19. Hey all, I'm about to move into a new apartment and I need a new router. I could use some help with some suggestions and whether or not the ones that I have picked are good options. Below are some requirements that I need: - Wifi 6 (obvious) - Cover less than 1500 sq ft. but more than 1200 - Support for multiple devices (20 or so) - Fast enough for gaming and video streaming at the same time - 4k Video Streaming at times - Tri-Band is not a must but would be nice - Same goes for MU-MINO support I have a list below of ones that I have already found that might fit. But give me your opinion on these. 20. Hello, So, I just got a digital edition. (I got super lucky on PS Direct) I haven't had a PlayStation since the PS2, I was wondering if it was worth it for me to get a disc version considering I don't have any PS4 games. But there are alot of PS4 games that I want to play. So the question I have is, should I worry about not having the disc version? Or will most of the big titles like God of War, ghost of tsushima, and others be available to play digitally? Thanks, A confused PC gamer that got a PS5
  21. Also, what do you think about the gsp 300's? i found them after a little more research
  22. I haven't heard of the Cooler Master headphones till now. How is the mic and is the sound quality got enough lows and highs?
  23. Hey there, I'm looking to get a new gaming headset, but I need some help with some suggestions and feedback on the ones that I have kinda picked out. But this is what I'm looking for: - Connectivity to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 (or ones that should be able to connect in the future. - I would prefer closed back headphones. - I would prefer wireless ones but I'm open to wired ones as well. - Would like to stay under $150 if possible (BUT I'M FLEXIBLE WITH THIS BUDGET) With that I had come down to these, but if you can think of different ones that meet the criteria that would be awesome: - Logitech G935 - HyperX Cloud Flight - HyperX Cloud Flight S - Sennheiser GAME ONE Thanks everyone!
  24. i have dt 990's they are amazing, I highly recommend them. I paired mine up with a micca origen+ dac/amp and it works fantasic
