Ok so I built a computer last year, 400 bucks pretty cheap to fit my needs and I am using the AMD am3+ socket type (yeah yeah intel master race I just prefer AMD's performance and price personally) so when I went shopping to start I found a cheap gigabyte motherboard that supported my needs and a pcie 2.0x16 video card which happened to be a 2gb card from MSI which i THOUGHT would suit my gaming needs for a little while anyways... since im typing this you can cleary tell it didnt. So I started shopping for 4gb graphics cards preferably with Nvidia hardware around the 200-300 dollar range (im working off a very tight budget) for 2.0x16... I find litterally nothing, I find no cards I would trust inside my system with a 2.0x16 socket type let alone anything under 3.0 minimum so I change tactics and search for 3.0 socket motherboards and find a few but that was almost four months ago, coming back to my issue all my previous boards are just flat gone (links lead to nothing) and I can barely find mention of the 3.0x16 socket type on a motherboard for my cpu (which I do NOT have the money to replace [its an 8 core anyways and barely a year old so i shouldnt need to regardless]) and so I turn to you all's infinite wisdom. LTT is the group that inspired my first custom built system and now I ask for help, I need an AMD am3+ socket typed motherboard with pcie 3.0 - 3.0x16 and an nvidia card with 4gb of graphics (for 2.0x16 or 3.0x16, its really just what you find) for roughly three hundred dollars or less. And to round it off no Im not being stingy three hundred is litterally my entire budget for this upgrade, I have money going into better peripherals that I simply cant ignore any longer and if I dont upgrade to at least 4gb soon (2.0 or 3.0 I dont care at this point) im not going to get another chance until four years from now when I'll have once more saved up enough. Thats about it. sorry I was so long winded
