Thats what I should do, buy a 5700 XT and sell my 1080 hybrid, basically an even trade.
Or buy like, 4 GTX 690's for 68$ a pop

    A 5700XT wouldn't be a bad sidegrade.

You'd get the upgrade of the superior imho software with Radeon Software.

You'd get cool AMD stuff and other benefits.

@savagepain How much does it cost to get 4K60fps gaming and decent encoding performance (OBS) on both platforms when you already own either a Ryzen 7 or 9 (Zen2)?

@TopHatProductions115 The GTX 1080 can handle 1440p60 @ quality pretty okay, I'm guessing 4k60 would be similar on Performance or Max performance.

Although. judging the fps my 1700 gets, a 3900x would probably do very similar at faster

     it's subjective.

I prefer ReLive over NVENC and Shadowplay.

AMD has pretty cool stuff with their drivers like AMD Link.

And also not having to sign into the driver software (Cough cough GFE) with an email and password is a great side benefit.
