I just had a few fillings done, and just as I was getting done going to the dentist and actually started brushing my teeth and flossing daily because I'm tired of the dentist, one of my fillings (4 days old) fell out.. not amused. 1. it feels very strange. 2. I can't even drink water without it getting super sensitive. when I clench my teeth while swallowing water, it's like I just hit my funny bone, but its my tooth.

@VegetableStu Mainly because I clench my teeth with swallowing and when drinking I do it quickly and usually at an off-angle or something of the sort, and it hits it wrong..

Try drinking water closer to room temperture, that can help a lot.

@RAM555789 The only thing I drink that isnt room temperature is apple juice after its been opened, and I have no apple juice.
@Cyberspirit The dentist thought, if it hurts to drink water, we'll get you in monday. (My birthday) time to go 5 days total without food!
-
@Ashiella That's a really unfortunate timing then but, I do have a solution for ya.
SpoilerSeriously though, that sucks. How long until you can eat with those fillings?
-
@Cyberspirit I can eat immediately when I get the filling, if they numb me I gotta wait until after thats gone. But I'm just taking some sips of water, and every time I hit the tooth version of a funny bone
