You were selling for upgrades, right? Sell the Ryzen stuff first, gets you more money, so you wait less time to upgrade, and the X58 Xeon you have is still very capable of getting the job done in that shorter time.

@King Poet Technically I could use shadow and I was thinking of trying that

@Lukyp Yes, what? Yes to selling Ryzen, or X58? Just slightly confused (perhaps I'm bad at reading)...

@Lukyp Recording while playing siege gives me 98% cpu usage on my ryzen cpu, guess I wont be recording. lol

Other than that I use handbrake or render videos sometimes so..

I'll go with the majority, then ;)

@Lukyp I do, I'm using NVENC. OBS still uses 5-12% of my cpu, and siege is at 70-80% (both are dependent on whats occurring in the game, so my cpu usage hits 100% allot)

Also, the quality of hardware encoders isn't as adjustable as software encoders. Not to mention, software encoding still has an edge (which is why I use it over NVENC with dual Xeons).

@Lukyp Nvidia share lowers my framerate too much to really make it usable. I'm using an R7 1700, and Siege can use 12-16 threads, not sure exactly how many, but it hits all 16 of my threads evenly and siege has gotten to 99% usage itself before, soo..

@TopHatProductions115 Most of the time its not at 100% usage, its usually at 70-80 as I said earlier.
