  1. And if i do the top 2x140mm as intake, and the H110i and the back fan as exhaust, wouldn't that be kinda the same thing? Then the lack of filter of the back fan wouldn't be a problem.
  2. Both at the same time. I figured it's not such a big deal if the AIO sits in the front. I couldn't find any other aesthetically pleasing case in that budget.
  3. Yep, AIO doesn't have clearance at the top in the case that i have....unfortunately...
  4. I never thought about that. Thanks! One question though, wouldn't that mean that the CPU temperatures will be worse because i am running hot air through the radiator? Also, is it ok if the radiator fans will be in a pull configuration? i cannot mount them on a push configuration (so the fans inside the case pushing air out through the radiator). Would they do the trick in pull config?
  5. Hey guys, So i'm kinda new into the business so please forgive me if i'm asking stupid questions. I have a Phanteks P400S case, with a H110i radiator mounted on the front of the case set up as intake, and another 120mm fan in the back as exhaust. I bought 2 x 140mm Corsair fans that i want to mount on the top for better cooling. I cannot put the H110i at the top because of clearance issues. So how should i configure the 2 extra fans mounted on top? Should i set them up as exhaust and create a negative pressure, or set them up as intake? Which of the 2 solutions will provide the best cooling in your educated opinion? Thanks and best regards,
  6. I wish Linus or Luke can do a test between the 6700k/1070 and 6600k/1080, where CPU's are clocked at the same speed. I tried to find anything on the internet between the 2, but there is no clear test or evidence supporting each side.
  7. I play at 1440p, max settings. i am planning to over-clock the shit out of the processor, as much as it allows me. Will it be a bottleneck?
  8. Yes, i also have the Acer XB271HU, which i believe will serve well in gaming. I know i could have skimped on the display to get the 6700k, but that was non-negociable for me as i'm very demanding with my displays.
  9. Just keep in mind that some users have complained about the coil noise or the fans being to loud on some of the GPU's. for example, i bought the G1 Gaming from Gigabyte because i liked the look of it the most, but then read some pretty nasty shit about the coil noise and such. I didn't have a chance to install it yet, i'll only be able to do that on Saturday, but i've heard the MSI ones are better with concern to the coil noise and fan noise. But i'm really put off by the color scheme of those. If you can return them without hassle, i would go for the looks and test them out. If return is an issue where you live (like here in Romania) maybe you should read some more reviews from users on forums (the reviews made by the popular outlets are not actually representing the reality of things because the manufacturers sent hand-picked GPU's that will obviously not have any coil noise, etc).
  10. Hey guys, So there was recently some chatting on reddit about the i7 vs i5, and some users were commenting that the 6600k was a bottleneck for the GTX 1080. Some of them suggested that a 6700k paired with a GTX 1070 would perform better in games than the 6600k/1080. What do you guys think about that? I just recently pulled the trigger on my first build, and i couldn't fit both the 6700k and 1080 into my budget, so i went with the 6600k instead. Did i do a mistake? should have i gone for the 6700k and 1070 instead? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but i'm quite new to this.
