  1. Uninstalled it yesterday but still having the same issues today unfortunately
  2. I'll give this a go, cheers! I think the pump will work it might just be that the RGB doesn't or can't be customised
  3. Just had a look and it's already on balanced strangely
  4. Hi there, I've noticed recently that my CPU is always running at max clock speed and my GPU is doing the same whilst showing the fans running at max speed. I hadn't thought anything of it but my computer crashed randomly today, the screens (I'm using 2 monitors) froze but I could still move my mouse and the podcast I was listening to looped the same 2 seconds over and over (weird right?). There have also been 3/4 instances in the past week where my fans and GPU temp have ramped up for about 10 seconds for no reason. The max temp it got to was 72 degrees. I've added my specs and a screenshot of the NZXT monitoring software below. Would be grateful for any ideas or at least to know if my PC is okay running like this. 24/02 - 13:18 Edit: PC has just frozen again, I could move my mouse and the podcast I was listening to on Spotify began looping the same 2 seconds over and over until I powered the PC off. Any help would be greatly appreciated please! Specs: CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 5600X GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Storage: SanDisk SSD Plus 1TB Samsung 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (this is the Windows Boot drive) CPU Cooler: Kraken X53 (240 mm) OS: Windows 10 Pro Screenshot: This is the PC just turned back on after the crash I spoke about above
  5. Cheers, I've added the extra details into the original thread. The cooler I bought that didn't fit was: ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280 - Multi so I'm not sure a 280 will fit?
  6. Hey guys, I've just built my new PC but stupidly didn't measure up for the CPU cooler and managed to get one that was too big for the case (ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 280 - Multi), woops!. I've sent it back now but am looking to get my hands on a new one so would love to get some recommendations, here are the details: Case: Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh - White CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x Motherboard: MSI Mag B550 Tomahawk atx am4 RAM: Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 Thanks!
  7. No peripherals needed (sorry forgot to mention that, I've just added it to the post) I can definitely wait for the release in 3 weeks. I take it that would drive the price of the older CPU/GPU's down?
  8. Hey guys, I'm looking to build a new PC so any recommendations would be great. I'm a complete noob (it's my brother who'd be building it) so annoyingly need guidance on all parts haha. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Budget (including currency): £1,500 (No peripherals needed) Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, Sim racing, VR and general use Other details I'd like to explore the AMD processor route as I'm hearing they're the future so would love if that could be kept in mind please! Thanks!
  9. Update: I bought a new SSD and replaced it, I've also changed the CMOS Battery and I'm still having the same issue. The computer now boots up but freezes after 30 seconds - a couple of minutes running. Any help would be amazing please
  10. Hi All, Would really appreciate some help here as I’m a bit of a tech noob. Specs are: Motherboard: ASUS X99-A 11 or II Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 780 ti RAM: 16gb ddr4 Processor: Intel i7 processor (apologies I can’t remember what model and can’t check!) Keyboard: Razer (sorry it’s old so I don’t know the model) Mouse: Logitech G502 Here is my issue: Turned it on this morning and it said it detected a power surge on startup. This happened twice. I then turned it off/took the power cable out and turned the on off/switch on the back on and off a couple of times (google told me to ). Have taken all the USB devices out and restarted and it seems to boot up okay/sits on the desktop screen fine. Plugged in each individually and then booted up and it froze when I either moved the mouse for a bit or tried to type. Thought I’d try the other USB ports and had some brief luck where I could load up a web browser but the moment I tried to do something substantial, like logging into a game it froze again. It now freezes without anything plugged into the USB ports, only have the power supply and 2 monitors via VGI cables plugged in. I have also tried changing where I’ve got the power plugged in but that didn’t make a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Thought it might haha! Cheers, enjoyable sounds great as my wallet will be feeling pretty light after this purchase!
  12. Will definitely keep that in mind, if I'm not happy with how it's running I'll save and upgrade!
  13. Guys I'm an idiot, this was my old spec list and I didn't think to check as I thought it was my most up to date. I'm running a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780Ti graphics card not the one previously listed
