  1. Yes, based on Seasonic terms, it will carry the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. In my case, still 3 years left as it was purchased in 2014 with seven years warranty.
  2. What if it was being replaced by the manufacture under warranty and you get back a refurbished (in most cases) would you still not trust it?

    G2 vs G3?

Exactly! It seems G2 is better even though G3 was released later.
  4. It is from Seasonic RMA and it will carry the remaining original warranty (which in my case is almost 3 years to come). The unit is SS-660XP2 and I believe it is no longer in production now.
  5. Just wondering if it is safe to use a refurbished PSU from a reputable company when building a new computer? Why would not do it? TIA
  6. While SeaSonic is good, I was not very satisfied with my current RMA process. I chose advanced (cross-ship) and deposited $140. I will get a refurbished unit at the end at approximately 10 days after paying the deposit. Not very good, for an advanced RMA in my opinion. Also do you think I should just use the refurbished RMA unit or buy the TX750M and sell that? It was 660w platinum (SS-660XP2)
  7. Appreciate your inputs! What would be the best choice to get from the list below (Canadian prices)? be quiet! Pure Power 10 CM 500W ($72) Corsair TX750M ($100) My build is Intel i5-8400 and Nvidia 1070 (might ugrade to 1080/ti in the future) Or do you suggest something different? TIA
  8. Seems the same, only thing is my motherboard is actually a 2016 design comapred to that one! Very confusing!
  9. When I turn on my computer it stays on for around 2 seconds, no longer, then it shuts off and then turns on again automaticlly and after this it stays on. This happens mostly when I shutdown and unplug the power cord from PSU. Specs. Gigabyte X170-WS ECC DDR4 Motherboard Xeon E3-1245 V5 CPU Seasonic 660W Platinum PSU Samung 850 M.2 500GB SSD Kingston 16GB (2x8) DDR4 2133Mhz ECC Memory I already replaced the Motherboard, and tested RAM modules individually, but same is happening with the new one! TIA
  10. Hi, During a video playback, the image will be broken like in photo below anytime during the playback. Clean install Windows 10 x64 with clean new drivers 375.63. Same issue with prior version drivers! Defective card or drivers issue? Specs: Zotac 1070 AMP 8GB Graphics Card, Xeon E3-1245 V5, Asus P10S-WS BOARD, Kingston 16GB DDR4 ECC RAM, Seasonic 660W PSU
  11. Yes it has a PCI express 3.0 x16. It is micro ATX. Shouldn't micro ATX be the same layout between server and non server?
  12. I got a new Intel S1200V3RPL server board http://ark.intel.com/products/71384/Intel-Server-Board-S1200V3RPL and was wondering if the GTX 1070 graphics card will work despite being a server board? TIA
