  1. I've got my Ryzen 3600 sitting at 4.2ghz with precision boost overdrive off running at 1.35v and with these setting whenever I play certain games my microphone will randomly die. I have a sennheiser game zero headset running through a astro mixamp. What I mean by "randomly die" is all of a sudden it will cut out in discord and in game, forcing me to go into windows audio manager and disable and re-enable the microphone. Doesn't happen with the audio just the microphone. Full Specs: Asus Prime X470 Mobo running 5406 Bios, Gigabyte 5700xt, 32GB Crucial Ballistix Elite Ram at 3600mhz, Windows 10 64bit, Seasonic 750w power supply Edit: Solved I think. Bios wasn't up to date and tweaked a couple of setting and issue went away
  2. I have a new drive on the way, but to get 4 dead drives in a row must be astronomically low odds.
  3. I recently upgraded my computer, and I wanted to install another hard drive. I bought a Seagate Firecuda 1TB SSHD and properly plugged in the power and SATA cable, but my drive isn't recognized in the Bios at all, doesn't even show a connected drive. This problem has persisted for a long time now for me even back before I upgraded from my 6600K system. I've gone through 4 different hard drives now all with the same problem on two different motherboards now and I don't know what to do. I've used different power cables different sata cables different sata ports and I have unplugged my SSD and used the known good cables to test the Hard Drives to no avail. What do I do? Edit: I have tried Disk Management and nothing shows up also
  4. 3600 it is then, I appreciate all your help!
  5. Dual channel. Would you go for the 3600(x) or the 2700X? The 2700X is 189$ right now on Amazon versus 230$ for the 3600X and 194$ for the 3600. Seems like the 2700X would be a nice choice
  6. She's treated me well but I think it's time for me to move on
  7. Somewhere around five or six hundred, purely for gaming at this point in time.
  8. Looking to upgrade my CPU and probably RAM. What would be a good value for an upgrade these days? Been looking at AMD stuff and it seems competitive. What should I go for?
  9. I think I've made up my mind, thanks so much guys I appreciate the help so much! http://pcpartpicker.com/list/dDp4sJ here's the finalized version if anyone's curious, their is a couple of random things (a couple games and whatnot) that bring the total up to 2700 but its alright
  10. So I was wondering what a good 1080 build (I already know which one I want just curious about other parts) would be for around 2500$ preferably with an ssd only and some money for a keyboard and mouse. I wanted a 1440p gaming monitor but would settle for 1080p also.
