  1. im also going to be using it as a half workstation though, since im going into mechanical engineering, i will need to do 3d modeling and stuff. just thought i'd throw that in there.
  2. my definition of 2k is 1440p lol. I'm not sure if i should go for UHD tho. im still debating between the two since i have time.
  3. 1080Ti is gunna be too expensive for my budget. im debating between a 2k and 4k monitor. im leaning towards 2k due to cost.
  4. I'm going to be building a custom pc later on this year, closer to school year start (summer, late spring). Going to have a rig at home and a simple laptop for school. Should I just build it now with a 1080, or wait for the new series GTX (20 series or 11 series?) to release?
  5. i know about a week ago i asked 6700k or 6850k, and i decided with the 6700k. but now people i know are telling me the 4790k is just as good, probably even better than the 6700k. im hoping to start school, so i want a pc that can run autodesk programs (they're based on single core use) but also than can run games pretty good. im stuck. help.
  6. i changed the mobo and all. ive been playing around with parts and all that for the past couple days.
  7. well i mean, here, will it work with this build? http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/YQhTnn
  8. so then whats a better case i can get that has a window panel and looks as cool as the nzxt phantom? im also debating whether to get the strix 1080 or the ftw 1080.
  9. I'm hoping to get the NZXT phantom 410 case, and the gtx 1080 FTW. but pc part picker says it may not fit. is it true or nah?
  10. i just checked the price of all 4. they're all around 900. the superclocked is the cheapest. fml
  11. it says its compatible lol so idk. and for the cpu cooler i can spend a decent amount. willing to spend max 80 bucks for it.
