  1. the 6mb on the speed test is in megaBITS Mbps is megabits, MB is megabytes. 6 mbps is about 700 Kb
  2. I know that, I mean what I mean, I did the conversions. Going to call bell sometime to see whats going on, thanks for the quick replies though
  3. So, Bell offered us a good deal to upgrade our internet. We live in an area that doesnt have access to fiber optics yet and bell is the only provider around, we had gotten about 700-800 Kilobytes/second download and 200 upload, they told us that they would upgrade that to 5 megabyte download and 1 upload. We accepeted the deal, they sent us a new modem and told us they set us up for these speeds. The thing is, the speeds haven't increased whatsoever, still getting the same speeds as before. The following speed test was done after upgrading, and are still the same speeds as before. (NOTE* the test is in megabits/second, which translates to the kilobyte speeds i was talking about) http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5590020554
