  1. yes It was the cabling. i didn't get any more shutdowns after connecting the gpu with 2 separate cables
  2. it,s currently plugged in with a single cable that splits into 2x6+2. i'm gonna try and use 2 cables and see if that solves it.
  3. its not overheating since my system runs pretty cool during demanding tasks. my psu is about 3-4 years old and i forgot to mention that these Issues started appearing after i upgraded my gpu from a vega 64 to the rx 6900xt
  4. Good Morning! Specs: R7 5800X asus RX6900XT top asus x570 strix-e wifi Ripjaws V 2x16GB @3600mhz samsung 960 evo 1TB and crucial P5 2TB m.2 ssd,s Western Digital Blue 3TB and 6TB Corsair RMi 850 My PC has been completely shutting off while playing demanding games. The only way to start my PC back up again is to turn off the psu and remove and replug its cable. I got suspicious and tried a furmark stresstest , which shut my computer off the second i clicked on stresstest. could it be that my PSU is not enough anymore? EDIT: these issues started appearing after i upgraded my gpu from a vega 64 to an rx6900 xt
  5. I think a 1440p 144hz monitor would be good for your system. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XV272U-Pbmiiprzx-Technology-DisplayHDR400/dp/B07MQBPMJ2/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=1440p+144hz+monitor&qid=1606525578&sr=8-5 Or this: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-XB271HU-bmiprz-2560x1440/dp/B06ZXZ3QBD/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=1440p+144hz+gsync&qid=1606525699&sr=8-2 Those cost a bit more than 400 so i kept looking: https://www.newegg.com/black-red-acer-xg-series-xg270hu-27/p/N82E16824009769?Item=9SIACVBC5U8163&Description=1440P 144HZ gsync&cm_re=1440P_144HZ gsync-_-24-009-769-_-Product&quicklink=true
  6. I have used the secretlab titan 2020 for about 2-3 months without regrets ^^
  7. Im sticking to the hero wifi since it makes barely any diference for me.
  8. The amount of usb ports on the back, the error code readout, the cmos clear and bios flaschback buttons etc. Also the general quality of the board.
  9. Thank you for your feedback! The reason i am overspending on the motherboard is because i like the features it gives me.
  10. Budget (including currency): undecided because im still thinking Country: Austria Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, Streaming, Video editing Other details: Current rig: Asus Prime x370 Pro Amd R5 1600 Asus Strix Vega 64 Gskill Ripjaws V 2x16 3200mhz Benq Xl2730z A FHD monitor as a second display What im thinking about upgrading to: Asus Crosshair VIII Hero Wifi Amd R9 5900X Asus Rx 6800XT or XTX versions if they possibly come out later Gskill Trident Z Neo 2x16 3600mhz or higher LG 34GN850-B The same FHD monitor as a second display I have a couple of questions regarding this: I've read about the issues that ips panels have with backlight-bleed in the darkness. I have phillips hue lightstrips which are pointed at my monitors, would they solve that problem? I want to stream simply because having a youtube video on my second display is starting to get boring, im not planning to stream for money or fame :3 For streaming i would like to use my then old rig as a streaming computer. Which capture card would you recommend? Im willing to spend about 200-300 € on it. Since i want to turn my old rig into a streaming computer im planning on selling my vega 64. Whats a good gpu for a streaming computer? Im still unsure about the memory. Are there better memory kits for ryzen?
  11. Steam randomly decided it was time to login with my password again and this time refuses to accept the letter äöü. Can i do anything about this or do i have to change my password. Thanks in advance.
  12. Sorry for the late reply. He tried switching back to password but he still had the same problems. He then tried multiple tests like memtest, prime95 and furmark. Turns out the problem is with his gpu, an r9 390, which is starting to fail. Thank you all for the help though
  13. He just did and it said that there are no integrity violations. <removed by staff>
