How did you OC bro? Would you mind telling me all the settings you touched? Or maybe a photo of the bios? I would really appreciate it bro.

Bro like i told you. I am not copying your settings. I just want to know what can be changed or tuned. I told you I am a noob and I need help. Why cant you just show me your bios settings?

I told you I didnt change anything else except the multiplier and voltage. I didnt touch anything else how am i supposed to know what the cache speed at?

Because i dont know what else to be changed. I just change the multiplier to 46 and voltage to 1.3v No idea what else you are talking about. Thats why i need to know what did you change.

Well I know it is fine at 1.3v but do you think getting that 4.6ghz with 1.3v is a good oc or not? If not then what clock speed should i get for 5960x at 1.3v? Thanks for doing any research. Forgive my bad English.

But at that voltage is it consider as losing the silicon lottery/medium or winning? I am really confused since googling does not provide much info about the 5960X OC at all.

According to your specs you should be fine in OC that. But needing it or not is up to you. I am willing to OC my PC cuz I paid for it and I need the speed for faster video editing.

Hey Guys I am trying to push my OC and not sure if this is any good. CPU: i7 5960X Clock: 4.6ghz all 8 cores Voltage:1.3v Ram: 64GB @2400 Mhz Max Temp on the CPU is 78 Degree C with Aida 64. Highest Cinebench run so far is 1766 *Cant seems to push it over 4.6 cuz it will be a deadlock at any voltage. Any opinion or suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
