  1. I am more inclined to go for X1 right now - The configuration would be 6200U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD with FHD display - guess that it is more than enough for office work on the go.
  2. Thanks I cannot get the XPS 15 because in the Czech Republic - it starts at ~ 1580e - without ssd and with i5. Thinkpad X1 starts at 1499e here (with and ssd) and I can get it for 1399e And I have a desktop to use, this notebook will be for everyday work when I am away from home.
  3. The thing is - where I live, we do not have a configurator for both Lenovo and Dell, so I am stuck with prebuilt notebooks. The t460s would be about 200 USD more expensive than X1 carbon, offering me 6300u vs 6200u. (I do not use anything that would benefit from vpro)
  4. Hi everyone! I am searching for a new work / uni notebook Through some research, I ended up with two notebooks that seem to be great for what I am looking for - Dell XPS 13 and Lenovo X1 carbon v4. My requirements for it are - 1. Quality build, 2. Low weight, 3. Good battery, 4. Good display - I will be carrying it with me every day, so it must be able to survive as long as possible. BUT - I've read complaints on both of them - I've heard about coil whine on the Dell and about not that great build quality for Lenovo. Do you guys have any experience with them? Would you suggest me a different notebook? Thank you!
