Hi There I want to make "professional" DVD's and digital Movies. By that I mean, the Medium shall incorporate the following things: - Movies with chapter makrs - Multiple Video Streams - Multiple audio streams in different languages - Multiple Subtitles in different languages - additional Menues - Chapter menu, Bloopers, etc. - Resolution 1080 up to 4k I've already looked into different sofware but either they offer very limited support for the things I want (Wondershare DVD Creator, Movavi Video Suite) or they don't have high enough resolutions (DVD Syler) Is there somebody who knows a program wich allows the creatiion of such menues both for a DVD / Blue-ray and also for a Movie File? Preferably, the software is free, but if a software coveres all those bases, I'm willing to spend money. Thansk for your help* AliSot2000

Hi there I was wondering weather one can restore files from a .dmg file. I happened to delete an entire SD card with films on it. I tried to recover them by using the Photorec tool. Which worked almost. Because I used a rented C-Fast card, I had to return it before I could restore the entire folder with the movies. So I stopped the Photorec process to give it back. But before I returned it, I made a copy of the C-Fast Card as an .dmg File with my mac. I used the option "Disk image of [C-Fast card]" from disk utility on Mac and created a read/write copy of the C-Fast card. Now I've been trying for a week to restore the last film files but Photorec isn't able to. I tried to use the virtual hard drive, but Photorec doesn't recognize it. Instead I used SD card of mine to burn the contents of the .dmg file to (the same size as the C-Fast card). For this procedure I used "sudo dd" in the terminal. But now after a week of trying to recover the movies (btw they are .m2t files) I still got nothing. Any Ideas on what to do? AliSot2000

Hi there I'm currently trying to set up an iPhone for my grandmother. She owns a very old Android Phone, with Android 3. As we tried to transfer her data with the "move to iOS" app on the Play Store, we ran into an issue. When trying to install the "move to iOS" app, it always ran into an error. Because I couldn't transfer her stuff with the app, I just set the iPhone up as a "new iPhone" and decided to transfer the files later. This wasn't too much of a problem: emails, the calendar and the contacts could be transferred flawlessly. But the Whatsapp chats turned out to be much harder. After talking to her, we've decided to move all the Whatsapp photos and videos to her computer and copy only the Chat histories. I've tried to transfer the history with Google Drive, but I wasn't able to. The iPhone couldn't download the fresh Backup from Google Drive. And because the files are hidden on Google Drive, I can't easily download them to implant them into the iCloud Drive. After that, I tried to download the Chats from the local storage of the Android phone, give them a new name. I basically did the reverse of what the FAQ page of Whatsapp is saying. (Link to Page: https://faq.whatsapp.com/en/android/20887921/) Rename the backup file you want to restore from msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt12 to msgstore.db.crypt12. It's possible that an earlier backup may be on an earlier protocol, such as crypt9 or crypt10. Don't change the number of the crypt extension. The new file, I copied into iCloud Drive. But upon activating Whatsapp on the iPhone the Backup file didn't show up. Has somebody a clue how I could possibly synchronize these Chats? (If possible without any additional software.) It would be great if somebody knew how the Backup of Whatsapp is stored on iCloud Drive. Thanks for your help AliSot2000

Hello I figured out what caused the problem. After a reinstalation of the entire System I found that the application “Duet” was causing those weird issues. Upon uninstalling it everything went back to normal. So in case anybody has this problem as well. Check weather you have Duet installed and if so, try uninstalling it. AliSot2000

Hi everyone I have an issue with my PC, which I wasn't able to resolve. I've tried everything I could think of. My last plan is to reinstall everything. My question, which might have been asked before, would be: Is it possible to reformate the boot volume and keep a secondairy volume unformated (can I just copy everything onto the secondairy harddrive and then copy everything back from the secondairy drive like from a USB thumbdrive) ? My drives are a SSD 275GB and a HDD 4TB. By the way the HDD is formated with exFAT and the SSD with NTFS. Thanks in advance for your help! AliSot2000

Concerning the CUE Error. Despite the error of CUE demanding that those three librarys have to be inside the folder with the CUE.exe, they are infact there.

It didn't work. The problem remains the same. I ran the dxsetup.exe but when I try to open CS the screen gets briefly black and goes back to the desktop, with steam showing me that CS is running. Downloading DirectX9 didn't work ether, the installer gave me a message that it wouldn't work on windows 10. DirectX12 seams to be installed, but I couldn't figure out how to reinstalle it. (looked it up with dxdiag in the windows search ) This is the result of dxdiag DxDiag.txt

Hi there My Computer isn't willing to open CS:Go, CUE, Infinifactory and Liftoff. At least these are the programs which don't work at the moment. Maybe there are more. I've already researched the Problem concerning the CUE. There is already a thread on the Corsair Forum but I think the problem lies deeper. (http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=176209) That's the error I get when I try to start CUE. Regarding CUE, I've already: - restarted my computer - updated windows - updated my drivers (GPU and rest of the sytem) - reinstalled the program - checked that my settings are correct in the Nvidea Control Panel - tried to install older version of CUE The errors started to occure like this. I had CUE installed. It worked. At some point CUE informed me that a newer version was available. I installed it and afterwards the error above showed up. But as long as I had this error displayed the profiles would still load so I didn't think about it. As I wanted to creat a new profile about 1 week ago, I noticed that CUE only displayed this error when I tried to start it. I thought previeusly that this was an error that would always show up as you try to launch the program and you could still use the program. Clearly I was wrong. (I had some similar errors on my mac with different software. It would give me an error when I try to launch the application but when I tried to launch the application again, it would work flawlesly.) I looked up the error on google and did some things which were recommended in several forums. I checked my drivers and installed the newest version (with Live update), I updated Windows. These steps didn't work. Then I went to Nvidea to download the latest drivers for the GPU, but installing those didn't work eather. Now the condition of CUE got worse. It didn't load the profiles correctly. To load the profiles I had to close and reopen CUE. That was last Friday. That evening I also played CS:GO. But the next day CS:Go didn't work anymore. According to Steam CS:GO was already running. I couldn't uninstall it. I couldn't find it in the Taskmanager eather. In the article on Steam concerning Programs which seam to be running it said it could be an other user on the computer who has CS:GO launched. This is impossible in my case as I'm the only user of this PC. After restarting the computer I was able to uninstall and reinstall CS:GO But the Error still showed up. After this error I checked every game I had. Liftoff and Infinifactory would show me this error [Error Message] and didn't start thought Transport Fever and Fortnite still work. I tried to reinstall the drivers several times on both the graphics aswell as the system side. But nothing worked. Yesterday CUE stopped working completly. No profiles would load. Error Message: Failed to initialize Direct3D. Make sure you have at least DirectX 9.0c installed, have drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed Well this leads me to this post. As both errors seam to be graphics related I assume it is somehow related to the Drivers.
