I started with 1 Red drive, for use in my Plex Server. I'll be transferring this to my new PC because my Plex Server PC can't keep up anymore. I bought the second drive at a later date when it was on sale. Instead of using them in RAID, I might use one as a backup.

Hi, I haven't decided if I want to RAID or not yet. One has data the other hasn't been removed from it's package yet. I will definitely check the health of the drives. Thanks for the info!

I don't know yet, but I would if it becomes necessary. I know I could save a little bit and get a non-K processor (stock CPU Cooler) and non-Z170 mobo, but is the savings worth it? If I chose not to overclock, what would you recommend I change?
