  1. This card reader worked. Now my router can detect the card and it shows up as FTP on my devices. Thank you @jaslion for the help and suggestion. Cheers.
  2. I'll take my chances. Thanks for the help.

  4. I just noticed that after plugging it the Disk Management shows 2 drives, one with the sd card and another empty. I guess I'll try to return it and order something else.
  5. So I have this router TP-Link Archer C5 V4 from my ISP and it has a USB 2.0 port for storage to be used as FTP and it works great with my 128 gb pendrive been using it for over a year now for ftp. Recently one of my friend gifted me his 512 gb SD card and I got a card reader for it. I wanted to use the card with the card reader on my router so that I can have more storage on the ftp. But the router is unable to detect the storage (although it shows up but as 0 byte). The card does works with the card reader on my PC and on my TV. What can do to fix the issue? Any help would be great.
  6. I did install it and it's the same. But what you said is correct, rather than having the fans ramping up suddenly it's better to be at 30% consistently. Zero Fan speed works on its own I think. After staying idle the fans will stop spinning and after some time it'll again be at 30%. Don't really know what triggers them as the temps always stay below 60'C. But then again it's not loud and I think it'll be fine. We'll see.
  7. Alright, then I'll stop worrying about it. But I still think it's a flawed design for these very high-end cards. Thanks for the help.
  8. Won't that degrade the fans in the long run? If they are always spinning.
  9. I got MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3080 Ti but the issue here is I am unable to set the fan speed to zero using MSI Afterburner or Fan Control v156. No matter what I do the fans will always spin at 30%. Eventually, it'll stop and be at 0% until I put even the slightest load on the GPU, like opening a youtube page. This was not the case with my Zotac 3070 where I kept the fans from spinning till the GPU hits the 60'C mark. I wanna do the same with the 3080 Ti, I don't want the GPU fans to keep spinning for no reason and without any kind of load. If anybody has any idea as to what can be done to achieve it, I'll be very grateful. PS - After researching a bit I came to know that the GPU doesn't support Zero Fan Speed or something similar to that. Maybe, I'm not sure about it. Please help.
  10. This process worked but it was a bit tricky. But at last it worked.
  11. It's a PATRIOT P300 I'll try this and update here.
  12. TBH lazy to do the whole process. I tried, but apparantly you can't mess with C drive in any way.
  13. I have an SSD with my OS (Windows) on it on one partition and on the other partition I used to keep games. Now, I've got a bigger SSD (NVME) and want to just copy my C drive with the SSD to the new drive and I don't want to copy or make any partition on the new NVME SSD. Can someone guide me regarding the same? I've tried Acronis True Image but I'm confused as how to do it? So my requirement is to have the entire space on the new SSD as C drive and no partition. But when I clone my C drive the other partition get cloned as well and I don't want that.

  20. Hello everyone, I was watching a movie on my computer and browsing internet, then suddenly my PC just turns off. I tried to start the PC by pressing the power button. Nothing happened. So I turned off my UPS and turned it back on, and pressed the power button on the CPU. My fans and my gpu light up for a split second and turns back off. After that if I press the power button again nothing happens. I have to restart the UPS and then press the power button just to see my fans and gpu light up for a second. Is my PSU gone bad? Do I need to buy a new power supply?
  21. I'll ask my local electrician if he could change it or not. If it's too expensive, I guess I'll have to do it with a bad LED.
  22. Can we find replacement LEDs?
  23. Can we find replacements LEDs? I bet someone can do that if I find LEDs right? I mean electricians?
