  1. Thanks for the advice I will probably leave it be for a week or so and then let it come back online
  2. Thanks, I have been putting my hard drive through a beating for the past month or so, fantastic to experience another great microsoft product.
  3. I just ended the Windows Updater task and the disk dropped to 1%, I think I fixed it but is that task necessary?
  4. As shown in the picture I have very few things running yet my hard drive is still at around 96% active load all the time during normal use. It actually jumps to 100% for about 5 minutes after startup. Is it my drive or have I done something wrong? (The PC is about 9 months old now) The drive is a WD 1TB 7200 RPM HDD. Pls help me.
  5. I figured out the issue, in overwatch the temp in the corner reads like 80 C during games but as soon as i switch back to a cpu temp monitor i downloaded it shows in the 40's
  6. 80 degrees sounded way to high to me and I know that I am controlling the right fan because I can see and hear the fan spinning faster after i adjust the settings
  7. I changed my fan speed to maximum and I am still getting 80 degrees C on my i5 6500
  8. So I have a b150 mortar mobo and when i Play overwatch I noticed that my cpu temp gets up to like 75-80 C and the stock intel cooler stays at 13% speed. The bios says the smart control should send it up to like 70% at 70 degrees so why is it staying so low. And in the meantime i will just put the speed on full power because my only options are that or smart cooling, because i cant figure out how to adjust the speed precisely either. Pls help!
  9. So I broke down and bought a sabrent usb adapter and a Mod Mic, really hope it works. I tried the headset buddy but was really disappointed in build quality and couldn't make it work anyway. Wish me luck, and thanks for your help
  10. So I think my issue is with the Green and Black jacks. I have absolutely nothing plugged into the black port and for some reason it thinks I do. When I click on the green port and hit retasking it comes up with options for front speakers and headphones and then when I click on the black jack the box gives me the option for line in or Rear speakers out
  11. Thanks for Looking at my problem, So to answer all of your questions 1. When you plug it in, does Realtek pop up and ask you what you just plugged in? Yes it does, there is a popup saying that a device has been plugged in and then Realtek Audio Manager pops up with the picture of Headphone box Checked. Then, after hitting OK the box changes to the other picture with the Real speakers out box Checked. SO then I click OK. 2. you're testing it by pressing the "test" option when you right click on the settings dialogue box, right? Plays a little chime and you see the green bars go up but no sound comes out? Yes then after doing the steps above I click Test, see the two speakers illuminate and then turn off and no sound comes through my Bose headset. 3. I might just end up breaking down and buying the USB but I would like to at least get this working for the future, If you could help me out and tell me if you see me doing something wrong that would be awesome. PS: I saw that you work for the company that makes the mod mic, if I can get this problem fixed with the audio could I use that and the headphones to make this a true PC Headset?
