  1. Yepp, build it, you can set up OS and software while you wait. Then when the GPU arrives just plug it in, get the driver and you're done ;-)
  2. I would recomed a 280mm radiator in the front, with the fans in a push config (fans mounted to the case, and radiator mounted to the fans) Remove the airflow fanst that are there from stock, they are not good for radiators. I have a corsair H45 and it is noisy as fuck, i hope the higer end models are quieter.
  3. I think you can just remove that by sviping over the pin with your finger, i just gave my PC a custom cable job, and had some of the same issus, but the PC runns with no problems.
  4. If you're looking for a bit of value, i would not recomend the Mac Book. Myself i have good experiences with MSI products. But do you need such a powerfull PC for Photoshop and some gaming?
  5. I would go for MSI, the no. 1 in gaming ;-) Got a MSI card myself, and i was suprised how good service they offer.
  6. Hi, i have a system running on a MSI Z170i board, and have a 16mbps conection @ home. But when start downloading someting all the network flows to that single process, my internet radio starts stutering, i cant open webpages anymore (google takes about 1 min to open) and other PC's on the network dont stand a chance. I have e theory that this issue has to do with some MSI "Game Boost" stuff, but this is realy starting to anoy me, so does anyone have any possible soloutions?
  7. Maybe go for 1x 8 GB instead og 2x4GB for cheaper upgrades.
  8. Think so, 1080 is like made for 4K, and for 4K is more picsels than 3 times 1080p.
  9. I havent tested it, i have it for backup purpose. I've modded a swich into my case to be able to turn the drives on and off. (I only fire them up when i want to use them). This has the advantage that i only fire them up about once a week, instead of allways with the PC boot. (Makes the drives last way longer) You can calcualte with about 190% the speed of a single HDD, so there is a quite good improvment in transfer speeds to, but as mentioned, i dont have numbers on it.
  10. What you can do is almost unlimited, so yeah...
  11. Yes, i got a Z170 board (ITX) total its 6TB of drives, but beqause of RAID5 one random drive can die, but i "only" have 4TB to go. You could ofc use bigger drives
  12. I got like a 3 x 2TB drives in my PC (profile pic) in a RAID 5 for backup, in addition for an SSD for my games. Dont know if this config is meaningfull, but yeah.
  13. I guess Mindfactory ship international, but i heared the shipping fees are high, but might be worth a look.
