  1. This will severly impact my next choice of home PC / Game station. If a Mac now can run my games i want to play, it might be bye bye windows for good. Apple tax is harsh but you know, using apple in every other thing i do except gaming so..
  2. Only problem is, it is Samsung. Get me wrong in the right way here, love samsung but rhwir smart health monitoring is a joke. They dont even show live pulse on their smartwatches anymore since its so spotty lol.
  3. So people are okay with paying for Ads, weeeeel hell no. Fuck this and fuck those companies.
  4. Then avoid laptops and tablet and phones, use a DAC and be one of those weird audio people, for the 98% it is more than good enough. Also the environment argument is getting tired since nobody lives the green life who yells about it.
  5. I own 4 different bluetooth headsets/earbuds so I don't see the issue here, I never have any need anymore for jacks on laptop/phone/tablets. Don't see the problem here.
  6. Good thing, in Norway our biggest ISP don't want to do this anymore after the new challanger came in and rented all their antennas and basestations and then proceeded to build their own network to fill in the gaps. After they filled the gaps they also buildt a 1 to 1 of the big ISP and had suuuuuperior coverage and speeds until the original ISP went: "We feel you intentionally shafted us so we are now ending the deal". So now we back to the old, which ISP has best coverage in your area unless you live in one of 4 big cities Sadge.
  7. Lool the name Hotpink Bonefish really appeals to me. Guess the upgrade is a 7600 for me if it don't suck
  8. I'm a little hype for the watch and this seems nice, love to see more foldable competition since the prices are steep because of very little competition, also it's probably quite expensive tech to produce for now also. This seems like a good thing.
  9. Ah yes the nr 1 developing country on earth, it's at this point honestly amazing people still choose to stay in the US instead of moving to almost any other country on earth to enjoy some basic human rights and such.
  10. This is a good thing, cause who wants to be associated with Lenovo's shitty gaming brand anyway.
  11. What, data caps on normal ISP internet, what backwater country do you live in? We are starting to close in on removing data caps on mobile phone connectivity here even so this seems just incredibly greedy and anti-consumer.
  12. Weeeeell public records of any kind usually tend to be helpful, at least there should be one for the gov that all agencies can access.
  13. The headset looks like an cheap aftermarket offbrand "PS5 COMPATIBLE" headset wtf is this industrial design djeezus.
  14. You know working with GDPR and IT-Sec those fields tend to come up more than you'd think. Also yes privacy is a field of jobs.
  15. I already have the Fitbit Sense, which has 5 days ish of battery life. They don't plan to release an upgrade to that one until next year probably so I'm eagerly awaiting leaks/news of Sense 2 I don't use it mainly for fitness since all fitness trackers are horrendous at giving you actual detailed stats, but they are a nice kick in the butt for moving a bit more and having some general stats to track over time. Since average over time is somewhat accurate, also just generally tracking workouts and sleep patterns has just become a side hobby.
  16. To be honest, I am not looking for a "smart" watch as they call them, I just want a better Fitbit sense with the same battery life. I have not checked out the functionality on the Huawei bands/watches but they are dominating in battery life so it should not be impossible probably. I think the development is moving towards more powerful devices that can do more on our wrists, and I am not really sure that is what I want. There are some shitty companies out there making those smartphone-sized screens that go on your wrist, and to be honest I'd rather go for that version than have both a watch and a phone for it to work. Just to add in, I like what you say about things and the rebranding thing I was thinking of myself, it's just a bit out of character of google to actually think of such things instead of just buying a brand and killing it by renaming.
  17. I am so confused, it seems they are still going to keep fitbit brand alive and still sell those alongside the google watch. Why? I would think they would incorporate the fitbit tech into the new watch and call it something fitbit with a google certification or something.. Also why would i need so much processing power and memory in my watch, like i just want ~7 days battery life, color screen and some trackers that don't suck, how come that is so hard...
  18. 144hz 4k so my GPU actually has something to do.
  19. It could be the time of the year, but you know Razer is probably making it for next years CES now...
