  1. Thanks both for the reply.. I've loaded default values on my motherboard now so cpu and ram should be stock.
  2. Hello Community! Before i go into my issue i would like to point out that recently the die on my 1080ti exploded it cracked, heard the pop... i knew it was dead. I decided to go and buy a Gigabyte 2080ti Windforce OC, stock temps were hitting 80c so i went ahead and installed the G12 bracket, i have the Thermaltake 360mm AIO mounted onto it and i get roughly 60c max on full load. I would also like to point out that i was having this issue whilst using the stock air cooler. I noticed my FPS was really bad compared to my 1080ti, i would be getting atleast 10-20 fps lower in games and from benchmark videos, this was definitely an issue. After tweaking around, i noticed that if i put the power limit to 122% on MSI Afterburner i lose about 30 fps from then it's set at 100%..... BUT if i was to set it at 80% i would GAIN atleast 30fps from when it's at 100%. Since my card exploded inside the PCI slot, i decided to put it in the slot underneath but i'm still getting this weird issue, I tried running DDU and doing a clean install also but that didn't work. I checked my BIOS and there are 12v running on the 12v rail < not sure if that helps at all? Specs: i7 9700k @ 5.1ghz 16gb DDR4 @ 2666mhz DUAL m.2 SSD ( where the games are ran from ) Asus Maximus X HERO I'm happy to provide any screenshots if needed. Thanks.
  3. is the power saving feature the same as nvidia CP or is it different like shown in the video?
  4. I've edited my bios before but not sure what i need to edit to fix my problem
  5. So what do you recommend about the bios?
  6. it was brand new i bought it in January. not sure if they will have it swapped though
  7. He pretty much said he can't tell me for sure what is causing the issue but could be the cards are conflicting. he kept mentioning something about refernce cards so i asked him i had the gigabyte, yet he still couldn't tell me for sure. he said editing the bios could fix the issue but he couldn't help me. +++ Zotac came with my PC.
  8. On live chat right now they said - "Oh I can see where the problem is, for the SLI to work properly one of the cards must be the reference design, those cards are not, therefore the custom BIOSthey have may be in conflict with each other" I'm not sure since we do not build those cards, but if we assume is not a reference, and our card for sure is not reference, that combination do not work, you need at least one reference for SLI to work properly
  9. I'm stuck as nobody knows what my problem is, crazy to be that person.... it's dodgy as the core clcok goes up full but the memory clock stays at 810mhz, are you able to say that the memory clock is the reason why i'm getting terrible performance on sli as i get better with a single card.
  10. Yeah i've noticed the memory clock capped at 810mhz is always the Zotac card.
  11. i've tried it yes im trying it again now.
  12. yeah, ive actually tried the one from zotacs site and a few others, really old ones,
  13. So are you guys saying my M.2 is interfering with my cards?
  14. I've already set up a thread there but very slow replies.
  15. https://gyazo.com/45ae4dc51aec5ee9bace1fccbbbcb836 System Specs - SLI is disabled on that picture as im just running a game with the Zotac card
