All I will say is that I have had quite bad experiences with both Zotac and Gigabyte in the past... but they may have changed since then.

Hey guys. Things have been turbulent for me these last few weeks. Monday was my last day at a previous workplace, since then I've been spending time at a new workplace basically all day every day. This weekend will be no different will be no different which is a shame since pretty much all parts needed to get started have arrived. But it is what it is. I have a lot of programming to learn for the arduino since I currently only wrote some basic code to move a servo and light up one LED.
Until the next update I have a couple pics from the hardware thats going to be used along with some other stuff.
Bear with me, I'll be able to get this project rolling for real very soon.

It's going to be a challenge fitting all of the parts I want to fit inside this case. But that's the fun part

Hastily made some measurments to kind of eyeball how everything would fit. It's tough without really having any hardware to put there.

The founders edition's cooling layout tends to push the hot air through the back of the card. So, doing SLI with these cards would be ideal as the second card will still be cooled adequately. Aftermarket cards tend to push the hot air throughout the case, and away from the card. Doing an SLI of aftermarket cards will cause one of the cards to be hotter than the other, as the hot air from the bottom card is pushed into the airflow for the top card. 

Hey @KSP - This is my personal rig, using the same case you mentioned, and GPU you mentioned. I am using standard lengths in my personal rig, I hope this helps.

Corsair K70 RGB or Strafe RGB keyboard and Corsair M65 Pro are good ones.

Clean it off as best you can and try RMA'ing it if it still doesn't work, don't tell em you spilled soup on it, just say it stopped working randomly.

asus strix is pretty good, asus is known for their superior PCB's. but im kindoff an asus fanboy so don't trust me
