  1. Ok. I’ll do this if all else fails lol. Thanks for the suggestion.
  2. I’ve tried that, but it just doesn’t seem to want to work. What’ll happen when I sign out and in now is it’ll say that I’m signed in on the screen, but whenever I want to, for example enable Apple to download automatically, it forgets that I’m signed in and a pop up asks me to sign in, even though on the screen it says I’m signed in. Edit: how do I restore?
  3. I apologize in advance if this is posted in the wrong subforum. Hey guys, So I own a Apple iPhone 6, and ever since I’ve updated to iOS 11, I haven’t been able to download apps. What I mean by this is, whenever I choose an app and click “Get”, a pop up comes up asking for me to sign into my Apple ID. I enter it in, and the pop up goes away. So I click “Get” again, and at the bottom of my screen it asks me to confirm the download. I do this, but then it doesn’t download or do anything. I click “Get” again, and it starts with the whole “Sign in with your Apple ID” again. So, I went into settings, clicked on the tab that has My Name and “Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes and App Store” below it (the tab directly below the “Settings” header) and noticed that the “iTunes and App Store” tab was off. So I clicked on it and pop up saying “Sign into iTunes and App Store as “(my Apple ID)”?” came up and I clicked “Continue”. It asked me to enter in my Apple ID password and I did that. After clicked enter, a white page popped up that had a loading symbol (sorry this isn’t very descriptive) and “Connecting to iTunes and App Store”. After about a second of this, yet another pop up comes up saying “Cannot connect to servers”, with the only option to click as “Ok” (I believe). I kept trying to sign in, but for the longest time, I kept getting the error. I tried signing out of the Apple ID on my phone and signing back in multiple times, but still wouldn’t work. Finally, after about a half hour of just Signing in and getting the same error, it signed me into the iTunes and App Store Apple ID. So, I went back to the App Store and tried download a an app, but low and behold, it wouldn’t work. I’ve tried using my cellular data (T-Mobile) and Home WiFi, but have had no luck. Do any of you guys have any suggestions? Sorry if this wasn’t very descriptive, or was confusing. I’ll do my best to answer questions. Thanks,
  4. Seeing as you have $800 to spend on the GPU, a FTW3 from EVGA is a good choice. Custom PCB, good air cooler, and some solid overclocks. Plus their warranty is pretty leanient on water cooling. If you want something cheaper, the SC2 is a great value.
  5. ^This EVGA CS is amazing, and I didn't want to take the chance with MSI's CS with a $800 watercooled GPU. Personally, I think it's worth the extra $10 to get the SC2 Hybrid.
  6. It is with the FTW3 Hybrid, but I just have it at default anyways :P.
  7. If I remember correctly, I don't believe so. The FTW3 Hybrid allows you to change the pump speed though.
  8. Performance/Temperature wise, all the Hybrids will be the same. The SC2 Hybrid uses the SC2 PCB, which is, I believe, is the Founders Edition PCB. The FTW3 Hybrid has a FTW3 PCB, which is a custom PCB. Thus, you may have better overclocks on the FTW3 Hybrid compared to the SC2 Hybrid, but it won't really be THAT noticeable. The SC2 Hybrid also has no RGB lighting, only White lighting, while the FTW3 Hybrid does have RGB. I don't know much about the Sea Hawk Hybrid because I usually tend to stay away from MSI, but from what I hear it's a good card. Personally, I have the FTW3 Hybrid, because I felt that it matched my PC's theme better (lol). However, value wise the SC2 Hybrid is probably the best. Plus, you get EVGA's awesome Warranty and Customer Service :).
  9. I got a new K95 RGB platinum with Cherry MX Brown switches for the price of a K70 and it's nice. I can't say it's worth it without any discount or anything tho, better off getting a K70 if you can't find a sale on the K95.
  10. So basically me and some friends of mine are building an "Ultimate" Z270 build for fun and giggles, with the i7 7700K and the ASUS Maximus IX Formula. So, I had originally decided to use 32GB of (4x8GB) Corsair Dominator Platinums at 3200MHz for $369.99, but then the price went up to $399.99. I don't feel like it was necessarily worth it so I decided to try waiting for it to drop down to $369.99. I was searching around and saw that the Corsair Dominator Plats 32GB (4x8GB) at 3733MHz was down to $439.99. I rewatched Linus's video on how much ram speed really matters, and yes indeed it's only like a 1% increase in performance from 3200MHz to 3733MHz, but eh. What I'm worried about is if I'll be even to acheive 3733MHz safely and with stability on the Z270 build. So would it be somewhat of a headache going to 3733MHz vs 3200MHz?
  11. Because of Pascal, any 1070 variant will perform within 1% to 2% of each other. It really comes down to thermals and noise and a deciding factor between each variant. That 1070 Mini is a good card, but it's more meant for small form factor builds, so thermals and noise aren't going to be the best. But if the price difference is that substantial, then it's not a bad card. As for ebuyer being a reputable place to buy from, I cannot say as I've never bought anything from them.
  12. I have a FTW3 Hyrbid from EVGA and am extremely pleased with the performance. Boosts to about ~2025MHz and never goes about 55C (I have aggressive fan curves tho), while staying whisper quiet at the same time. Plus, looks pretty badass.
  13. I've been using my EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid for about a month now, and I am completely satisfied with it! The performance is amazing (boosts to about ~2025MHz on the core stable and never hits about ~55C (I have a fairly aggressive fan curve). The card is very quiet, and plus looks really nice. I had been using a FE 1080Ti for a while before this and it's absolutely amazing switching to the Hybrid. So Op, if you have the money go for the FTW3 Hybrid, if not, the SC2 Hyrbid is great too!
  14. I got the Dell S2716DG for gaming a couple of weeks ago for a nice price. I think this is the Dell monitor you were talking about, but it's a TN panel, so it has no IPS backbleed. It's 27 inches, GSync, 144Hz, 1440p, 1ms response time, and superb quality. After some calibrations, the colors are pleasing, especially for it being a TN panel.
  15. I use a 1080Ti for 1440p 144Hz as well. 95% of games it completely obliterates on max settings. But even the Ti will sometimes struggle hitting above 100 FPS in some games.
  16. I just installed my EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 Hyrbid and absolutely love it!
  17. I just installed my EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid in and so far I am absolutely loving it! A good mate of mine was letting me use one of his FE 1080Tis while I waited for mine to arrive, and the FTW3 Hybrid is so much more cooler and much more silent than the FE. Plus, I'm loving the new shroud design from EVGA
  18. uhhm I haven't seen the PG348Q in person, but the Dell S2716DG is 27" and has a gray frame. Don't really know if this helps but throwing it out there.

    Monitor Hunt

I purchased my Dell S2716DG from Micro Center in Duluth, Georgia. I had a employee who was helping me (as I also got other PC components there), and I asked to see the two Dell S2716DG's they had in stock in person. That's when I saw that one of the monitors had a manufacture date of October 2016 (A03), and one had a manufacture date of June 2017 (A04). I have no idea what the differences are between all the revisions, but the newer the better(?). Edit: The monitor's box should have a sticker on one of the sides. There it should state where it was made, the build date, and the revision number. Also, a bunch of other barcodes and numbers that aren't important lol. Edit again: You should be fine with any of the revisions you get. I honestly doubt there would be anything major or game changing changes for each new revision.

    Monitor Hunt

From what I've heard (and seen), you are correct about Acer and ASUS monitors, it's basically a lottery system with some models of their monitors. I ended up buying the Dell S2716DG (revision A04 [June 2017]) for $499, and after some (color) calibrations, I couldn't be happier. Very good build quality, very nice colors (considering it's a TN), 1440p, 27 inch, 144hz, 1ms response time, and GSync. Oh, and Gsync. Sorry, but did I forget to mention Gsync? Edit: I believe Dell has a 23 or 24 (I forgot) inch version which is 165Hz. Other than those two differences, it's the same as the 27 inch version. Edit again: Here's a pcpartpicker link of the 23.8 inch monitor - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CwgPxr/dell-s2417dg-238-165hz-monitor-s2417dg
  21. Cool! Yeah, I purchased a NZXT Kraken X52 (because you can never have too much RGB amirite or amirite?), and I'm going to try to overclock to 4.8GHz on the 7700K, as soon as I have the system built!
  22. Thank you all. As tempting as Ryzen is, I think I'll try out the 7700K first (it's still in the box lol). If I'm not pleased with the 7700K's performance, I'll probably give Ryzen 7 a shot. But thank you all for the replies!
