  1. yes audio is thru HDMI and connected to GPU (RX 480) Audio works normally after boot but when pc wakes from sleep it doesn't, this is happening every time the PC wakes. Haven't tried that yet nor do i have the equipment for that yet, i will eventually grab some PC speakers from amazon and plug those into on board audio as well as get a DisplayPort cable for my GPU
  2. Hello, I recently finished building my PC and I've been having an issue with audio when my PC wakes from sleep mode, that is there is no audio being played when there should be. This problem only occurs after wake from sleep. Here is current setup: CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (Purchased For $204.99) Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty H170 Performance ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (Purchased For $94.98) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory (Purchased For $59.99) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $89.39) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($47.49 @ OutletPC) Video Card: PowerColor Radeon RX 480 8GB Video Card (Purchased For $239.99) Case: Corsair Carbide 400C ATX Mid Tower Case (Purchased For $89.23) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GS 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (Purchased For $80.98) Total: $907.04 My monitor is: LG 29UM68-P https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B9IDLAW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1c=1 Currently my PC is hooked up via HDMI to my monitor I plan to switch to DisplayPort soon. Things I've tried Disconnecting and reconnecting the HDMI cable Turning off and on my monitor Switching to a different audio playback device and back to the monitor in the audio taskbar Updating drivers (To my knowledge all drivers are up to date, including the HDMI audio driver) Extra Information that may be relevant The HDMI cable is connected to the RX 480 so audio is coming from the GPU not on board audio (I Think) Please help me figure out the issue. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks
