Leave it to me to crash Blender while messing with bump maps.  :I  I seem to have a talent for making such software crash.

 

Anyway, update on that donut.  :P

    @TopHatProductions115, basically since it is using Cycles with path tracing.  Ray-trace ain't really new in rendering, just newish in using some feature sets of it in video games during real-time.

     

    My single 1080Ti in the main rig actually still gets fairly hammered if I leave the render in Cycle render while working on it.  Just the donut takes my 1080Ti one minute and a few seconds to render out (this with the denoiser node being used on top as well).

    The nodes just for this darn donut:

    Though, I can't wait for the update on the particle engine.  Supposedly that is incoming on 2.83 or 2.84.
