  1. Hi,Specs:TV: Samsung LE32D404E2W,ports: HDMI IN 1(DVI) & 2, USB, Headphone, EXT, FM ANT.Receiver: Samsung HT-D355,ports: Optical Digital in, HDMI out, component out, aux in, video out, FM ANT.Apple TV 4k (aka "ATV"), only 1 HDMI.Question:How do I connect the three together to use the recivers audio? I thought I could connect the ATV directly to the TV, likewise connect the Receiver to the TV through HDMI, but no. I only manage to get the ATV to work with the TVs built-in audio. Is it possible to connect it through arc eventhough none of the TVs HDMI ports list it? If you go through the receivers settings you find "HDMI Audio", but no similiar setting is found in the TVs settings. Please help me,Thanks,-Philip
  2. That sounds resonable to me. I've also got my eyes cought on this lens; Nikon 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED DX Thought it would cost around $800.. Then I did something stupid and looked up the difference between FX and DX... Guess that FX cost too much..
  3. Currently I don't have any optical speaker unforunately Also, changing the samplerates/bitdepths didn't work for me.. I'm getting worried
  4. The first lens is a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. The second lens ia a AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR. Now I know that the second one isn't exactly used for landscapes, but atm it was a nice complement if you'd ever wanted to shoot in the city or portrait.
  5. Yes, I've also tried to disable/enable but for no good.. I've also tried to switch to the fron inputs but still no results..
  6. That's right, I never do video so it's not worth paying for such features. Yeah, I'm sorry but I haven't had the time to grab the lenses just yet. Well I need functional gear to improve, as well as I've been in-need for higher resolutions for the editing. You've done a great job mentioning different models and which got dubble SD slots e.t.c. I really appreciate it I know that much of the decisions lie on what lenses I have and if I'm willing to give them up or not, I'll be sure to hit you up with the exact models when I get home later this afternoon! The only reason I'd higher my budget would be if there's a package deal that ships internationally. The $1800 budget is just for the body though.
  7. I mostly do landscapes and star-landscapes. I can't remember the lenses' modelnames atm, I will have to comeback with that at a later time unforunately. Yes, I'm totally in need for dual SD slots. I'm mostly shooting in Raw and since I'm going for great resolutions, my cards get filled pretty fast. Still you have a point, a cheaper body would result in better lenses, but I will prior a new body to begin with. Because the D5100 doesn't have a working LCD I have to shoot on Automatic.
  8. I'd simply go with a EVGA 500w to be on the sure side.
  9. A new body is a must though. The D5100 have some rough erros like catastrophic batterylife, non-working LCD and also I've managed to break the flash. Aswell, it only got on SD-card slot
  10. Uh no, don't get any AMD CPUS. That's a big mistake I did. Get an Intel whatever you do.
  11. HDD. You'd use the SSD for Windows and your most used software, aswell as Photoshop if you use that. A HDD have bigger potentional to break, since it's mechanicall, but an SSHD have shorter lifespan. Also, an SSHD just costs more than worth, since you already plan on byuying a sole SSD.
  12. That takes it up to $490. For my needs I'd actually say a SSD would be more priceworthy.
  13. Hi, I've been using my iPhone 6s to take photos on a daily basis. It works okay, right. Then I also have a Nikon D5100 that I use whenever I have time I can spend exclusively to snap some photos. My question is though, because I want to step up my game even further, what Camera should I buy which have a priceroof of $1800 (USD) ? The prior would be the following: Ridicolous image resolution, Price, Ability to shoot in the dark. Oh, and the choices is limited to Nikon and Canon. No chineese fakes or so. Thank you.

  15. Free video editing? Don't you have Windows movie maker installed already? Jokes aside, no free software can stand up to payed. Have a look at Sony Vegas if you'll continue to edit video, but until then I'd say stick to Windows movie maker.
