how's the bass boost option on Q1

have you personally tested Q1 or E17k alpen 2?

yes they can get Loud enough, as these are basshead cans they need more power to get more bass out of them. first i was checking out Fiio Q1 (70$) for these.now i am thinking i should invest in a good amp/dac once for coming time

ath-pro700mk2's are basshead cans and they need power so looking for a good amp/dac and this will be my first amp/dac as well. i am getting Fiio Alpen 2 E17k for 150$ , is E17k worth 150$? am gonna be using it with iphone/macbook, will i notice a good difference with quality?

these were my first 200 range headphones i wanted to spend money on something i wanted because i heard only bassy headphones and i didn't like the loss of bass i was feeling, dt770's were great overall and those pads make you feel you're not even wearing anything. i used iphone 6 plus and macbook air early 2k15

went with dt770 pro 80 ohms, and was disappointed because of the flat bass response.i requested a return instantly and i'll have to pay around 2k (Restocking fee) to return them and i won't be able to buy from any other site from the money they will return will be in a form of coupon.fckd now i heard the sound without an amp, if i buy an amp for dt770 80'ohms will i hear noticable difference with bass?

i am thinking of going with DT770 as i will buy an amp in future, i only wished DT770 had a detachable wire as my old pair is a waste just because of the wire, as COP has detachable wire, can you give some details on DT770 vs. COP? you should hear DT770 80ohm i have read it has more bass than 250Ohm. coming to M-100 i will have to buy new pads for them right? total cost for them would be around 350$ do you think they are worthy for that much?

first of all i have only heard two or three cans and the expensive one was beats studio, i really liked the punchy bass so i began searching and found out that beats are overpriced + the quality is not good now that i have not heard high priced cans so i can't really compare.keeping the beats sound in my mind i want something like that or even better. after two days of searching straight and over a month thinking about buying a good pair of headphones i have selected these three. Price of these in my country - Custom one pro - 225$ DT 770 Pro (80 & 250 Omh) - 200$ V Moda M-100 - 330$ i know prices are little higher but there's no other option.the thing is that i want something with good bass not just only good bass, headphones should be good in every aspect just slightly more bass.if i'll have to buy an amp in future i will buy one, for now please help select a good pair.if you think the headphones i have selected are not worth the price i'm open to suggestions too.
