  1. Update: I just double checked and the pump has died on the LT Solo which might explain a lot of the issue. Unfortunately it’s JUST out of warranty. Anyone know if Alphacool happen to be lenient?
  2. That’s what I had before. I did it purely for the looks to be honest haha
  3. Already got Noctuas but will try an undervolt. Thanks
  4. I’ll check this, but I’m also getting almost 100C on the CPU on start up so there’s definitely something else (possibly as well)
  5. Might need to invest in a bigger case then Thank you
  6. Hi, I just built my first full custom loop and am getting very high temps. It’s an SFF build so I expected temps to be higher than a regular loop, but I am getting 90C on my GPU when running heaven (60 on the CPU) with the pump and fans on full. The water temperature is about 40C. Is my pump just not strong enough? I saw Optimum Tech use a smaller pump in a faster system with a full loop so I thought it would be fine. I tried running it upside down etc to let any bubbles go into the radiator and not the blocks but it didn’t change. My specs are: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: RTX 3070 TUF CPU block/pump: Alphacool Eisbar LT solo GPU block: EK Quantum Vector I am using EK coolant with a 240 Alphacool rad. Any advice greatly appreciated.
  7. It is supposed to just be a fill port so it might not be suitable:
  8. There is a port on the top that I was using for the 45-degree fitting. Could I have the tube go up and through that port, then back down through the pump and out of the bottom of it?
  9. It's definitely not ideal. Might it be a good idea for me -- since it's essentially a custom aio -- to take the whole loop out, fill it up as full as possible outside the case, then install it back again?
  10. So I have a sort of custom-aio in an itx build and due to the size constraints, I have the pump/cpu block at the top of my loop (I know I shouldn't ). Since it's at the top, it tends to get little air bubbles stirring around which causes an annoying vibration in the pump. I'm sure it's probably not good for it either. I've attached a little diagram of what's going on behind the gpu using my amazing paint skills. I have a small 45-degree fitting (blue) coming off the top of the pump (red) to act as a tiny reservoir, but it wasn't as great of a solution as it was on paper. I was wondering, is there anything I could do to stop the annoying noise (aside from re-doing the loop completely)? Thanks
  11. Solved: it was the classic gen 3 riser issue. I thought I had already set it to force gen 3 in the bios. I was wrong
  12. Hi, so today I installed my first custom loop into my PC. I just tried to boot it and the fans spin as normal but there is no output to the display and the "VGA" light is on on the motherboard. The only think I can think that it could be is the GPU riser cable as this is the first time it has been used. Any other ideas are welcome and any help appreciated Also sorry the video isn't great I was struggling with the max upload size. Essentially the lights go DRAM (orange), CPU (red), then VGA (white). It sort of double booted when I recorded it which it does sometimes but it gets stuck on the white light regardless. 20210824_175353_1_1_1_1.mp4
  13. Should I worry about it? Or will I be ok to leave it
  14. Well I am very happy with my build, but not that happy...
  15. Hi, I built my first custom loop yesterday and I noticed that there appears to be a weird white thing in one of the tubes. I have no idea what it could be, especially as the loop is pretty much brand new. Any ideas?
