  1. The pair pictured was a coiled cable, but the sennheiser pair were not.
  2. Yea, problem being it's happened to my previous cables too. It's happened to an old headset (sennheiser g4me) and another wire for this current pair (audio technica ath-m50x).
  3. I've been having problems finding a solution to this problem. My headphone wires keep curling up in a mess up wires. I've tried hanging it with weights and it only seems to fix it for a few days. It's very annoying as it makes the long cable nearly useless I'm constantly accidentally pulling the cord out of my computer. Anyone know how to solve this?
  4. Does MSI make decent boards? I see that they are quite a bit cheaper than asus and gigabyte.
  5. I am looking at these right now http://www.ncix.com/detail/asus-z170-pro-gaming-atx-c9-111463.htm http://www.ncix.com/detail/gigabyte-g1-sniper-b7-lga-a9-126150.htm http://www.ncix.com/detail/gigabyte-z170x-gaming-3-lga-1151-1c-113583.htm
  6. An upgrade would be nice anyway, BUT, I guess motherboards are ddr4 now though. So new RAM too? Or does ddr4 support ddr3 ram?
  7. Okay, thanks for the help! With a new CPU, I guess I will need to get a new motherboard anyway. As the newer CPU's aren't supported by older motherboards, correct? I saw NCIX had this i5 on sale http://www.ncix.com/detail/intel-core-i5-6600k-3-50ghz-6m-e0-110591.htm Would I need a new mobo for it?
  8. Specs: Asus PBZ77-V Lk motherboard Evga geforce-gtx 770 Intel i7 3770k Samsung 1tb ssd Western digital 1tb hdd Cooler master 700w power supply 8GB Hyper X ddr3 ram Thermaltake Water 3.0 windows 10 My PC was crashing constantly, it started a few months ago and only had gotten worse. For the 4 years I owned the PC it was running the stock Intel cooler and recently I noticed it running really hot at over 100 degrees Celsius when it was crashing. So yesterday I went out and bought a Thermaltake Water 3.0 after market cooler. After Installing it myself the temperatures dropped from 70 at idle to 30 and only reaching 50 in games. It was running great and I was sure I fixed the problem. Sadly, this was not the case, a few hours later the computer crashed again, and this time for good. I tested the power supply (unplugged everything and then bridged the green and black wires) as well the ram (tested with one at a time) and they both work fine. My guess is that the excessive heat fried the motherboard or cpu. How can I test which one needs replacing?
