  1. Thanks, man! I will check these out!
  2. I see! I haven't even thought about customizing each LED individualy.. maybe I should try to find products that are supported by Corsairs software? I wanted their case fans, but Aura didn't support them. I see the AIO cooler from Cooler Master supports Aura, ASRock, Gigabyte and MSI RGB software. any recommendations here?
  3. I will absolutely check this out if they support the products I want. But you mean that the Aura software is bad? Could you specify this a bit?
  4. Ok, thanks for great ideas! I will check this out. Do you know if NZXT and EK support the same products as Aura? I was thinking something like this. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yfDLf9 Not sure about the exact GPU yet, but 2070 Super in general.
  5. I am planning to upgrade my PC with almost everything! This time I'm thinking about some RGB and was wondering if anyone had any tips. Some info for starters: - I got an Asus Prime X470-Pro Gaming mobo - I was thinking of going with the Phanteks P400A Black case - Upgrading to CPU cooler CM ML360R RGB - Getting Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 16GB memory - Case fans I thought about CM SF120R I have chosen these products since they all support Asus Aura Sync. Could anyone give me any tips for maybe a controller I can use, splitters I need etc? I have little experience with fan/RGB hubs or controllers. I live in Norway so I can't get all brands out there, but if anyone recommend any products I can see if I can get them. Thanks.
  6. I have thought of this myself. Which 3.0 hub are you gonna use? Haven't found any good ones yet..
  7. But if I format my hdd drives so they are not set up in a raid, but only made to one storage space. Can I add more drives later to make that storage space to make it bigger? Or will the new deives then make a new space?
  8. I really don't have any plans of upgrading just yet, so let's hope my rig will hold up until Kaby Lake and make it ever more "future proof"
  9. I have tried this many times but can never seem to find out how to.. So now I have the "Activate Windows" watermark down in the right corner..
  10. Yea, I have thought about this. So maybe in the future I will buy an upgrading kit to get it up to 1151, Skylake and so on
  11. Haha, sorry! Added it now
  12. Hi. I have built this gaming rig and was wondering if you guys had any tips for improvements or general comments? I built the base rig a few years ago so I don't have 1151 sockets and a Skylake CPU, but is this necessary? If I remember correctly I scored about 17-18k on Fire Strike with 3DMark after I recently got the MSI 1080. Could maybe need some more storage after a while, but have only used about 200 gb so far for games. I have a separate media server with 6 tb storage. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Gk6bhq Reidar, Norway
  13. Was hoping I wouldn't have to go that far.. Anyway, thanks man
  14. Hi. I have built a media server for myself and I have equipped it with one 256 gb ssd and two 3 tb hdds. At the time I had gotten a tip that I should set it to raid 1, but lately I've been running out of storage space and have found out that the redundancy isn't that important to me. I'd rather have the other 3 tb. Is there any way to remove the raid 1 without removing all of the content on the disks? It's just movies and tv shows so it isn't a major crisis, but it would be a lot easier to not have to download it all once more. I should add that I love the tech tips show, but I am not super smart when it comes to computers. I know enough to build them and use them, but just over average about all the rest. Thanks in advance Regards, Reidar, Norway
