  1. Just wondering if anyone is using AOC Agon AQ271QG monitor equivalent to the 27" ACER Predator XB271HU and ASUS ROG PG279Q monitors and what are your thoughts?
  2. hello everyone sorry if this has been posted before, checked and couldnt find one. has anyone use v.me before? i tried looking around for reviews with comments to get a general idea but couldnt so let me know what you think of it! =]
  3. EA. Australian coalition party. ''this'' vs ''that'' topics (usually flame wars like cod vs bf) Religion a certain group of people in society
  4. yeah, i know that feel, and its annoying that you cannot plug into a power board and you must plug it right into the power socket itself i see, cheers!
  5. so get powerline ethernet, connect cable to it and to another router and make it an access point from there?
  6. Hell forum members =] i would like to know if its ok to put powerline ethernet for my new computer and then use a wireless card to make a ad hoc access point for my xbox, phone and laptop in my room. why i want power over line is because i read many good things about it compare to wireless, and since my modem/router is in the kitchen (because its in the 'middle' of the house) its easier for the signal to reach my room, however if i get powerline ethernet i would need to move the modem to the office next to the master which is theoretically speaking a bit further away from my room and more 'obstacles' (and there is no computers in there so i can make use of the power er.. socket? and the kitchen has limited power sockets, only 2) well i know i can still run wireless at the same time, but im just wondering if i run the ad hoc via my new desktop (with powerline ethernet) and if i were still to game online via my xbox or my laptop, would i say run at a much higher ping/latency compare to if i just run wireless normally?
  7. i understand, but i cannot help it haha so ohwell yeah, i might get the Kraken x60 im getting into it lols edit: oh, does it fit with push-pull config?
  8. Yeah, i understand about the fans, ill just stick to the corsair 120mm SP since i am a sucker for them. Yeah, the PSUs are pretty pricey, so i will just stick to what you chose for me, it looks good and does what i need it to do so cheers for that, besides the HAF XM has a cover to hide the cables. That and i can always buy new cables separately. Yeah i know, hence why i want to buy some parts on Amazon, its like a massive $200 difference, and i really want the GTX 780 and the EVGA SC w/ ACX cooler seems the best one out there in terms of cooling and overclocked. hmm resolution will be on a single monitor 24" (i think, forgot the size lol), may get a new monitor in the future and think of going multi as well (although the current monitor i have isnt on sale anymore) the only difference with Kraken x60 (vs H110) is it has a fan control and led light on the pump and i read the difference in Temp isnt much? Although im not sure about the noise. And i can still manually control the fans with H110 right? does the two 280mm radiator even fit my case? lol plus it almost seems H100i is better in performance too http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cases_cooling/corsair_vs_nzxt_battle_of_the_aio_watercoolers/2 i already have storage so thats fine. yeah thanks for the replying tip haha
  9. hmmm not bad my prefer budget would be $1500AUD or under The PSU is nice (is there a red color scheme instead of blue?) and if i do end up getting that am i able to get more sata cable assuming i do end up having the need for more than 6 storage lol. never heard of Mwave Australia, are they good? and is Scorptec good too? (saw them on statisICE) and is there a H110 vs H100i comparison, i only saw one and H110 seems to beat H100i in noise and performance.
  10. Hello everyone =] i'm planning to build a new rig since my laptop is getting old and i have quite a few things in mind so please help out =] and yes this will be mainly a gaming build (but hey i could potentially do video editing or something but most likely light work if ever) Case: HAF XM (acquired) (comes with 2x 200mm fans at the top, one red LED fan 200mm fan in front, and one 140mm fan behind i think. May use 1x 200mm from top onto side panel) CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K (will overclock, although it shall be my first time) (haven't acquired) Motherboard: MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming board (haven't acquired) Cooling: - Corsair H110 (i would like to know if i can push/pull config in a HAF XM) (haven't acquired) - 1x Corsair AF140 Quiet Edition, 4x Corsair SP120 performance fans for radiator (haven't acquired) (may hold back on H110 as i just realise there is no 140mm SP versions) (i think i read some people recommend noctua fans but sorry i loved the corsair fans =P but im still open for suggestions) (may need a fan controller to control all the fans im getting so please recommend, looking at bitfenix recon fan and led controller black) GPU: 1x EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked 3GB w/ ACX cooler (not acquired) (if i researched the benchmark correctly it somewhat outperforms other non reference GTX 780 Correct?) Storage: already have a crucial M4 128GB ssd and a 1tb WD green HDD which i an old one but will do for now RAM: Unsure but thinking of Corsair Vengence pro 1600mhz 2x 8GB or 2x 4GB (already know if i get higher clock speeds, there won't be much performance improvements, only about ~4%?) PSU: Unsure, preferably some 80plus above bronze, full modular/Semi (preferably fully modular), and will be thinking of upgrading in the future, with one more EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked 3GB w/ ACX cooler, more SSD/HDD, may or may not upgrade the CPU, more ram if required in the future note: I live in Australia, Perth and thinking to get most of main components via Amazon, so please tell me if the package and shipping rates are good or not (and i know if i go over 1K in cost of goods, i will get taxed by customs), i will also get some parts via local stores (PLE and netplus) and look into PCCG as well. Thanks of the feedback =]
