  1. Hi guys, been gone from the PC-building world for a while now, and i'm now a total n00b. I'm now running a SATA mode M.2 drive as my main storage drive, with my operating system and everything like that. I've been thinking of getting a faster M.2 drive, one that isn't in SATA but PCIE mode. Do any of you know how i can transfer all of my data from my original main drive to a new one, if it's even possible?
  2. Hey guys, i've got a hp probook 430 g2, and my internet is absolutely horrible. I believe this is because my wifi card is tuned to b/g/n, while i want to upgrade to a wifi card that is ac-compatible. Can anyone of you help me find a new wifi-card? (PS, if you happen to be norwegian you can send me a link, i live in Norway so i'm gonna buy it in a norwegian store/site)
  3. Hi everyone, i've been away from this community for quite some time, but i'm looking to get to use my computer again (I hope I'm in the correct topic btw, maybe it should've been peripherals) I'm a student in Norway, and my headset has been broke since the start of the summer, and i'm looking to get a new headset! Since i've been away i'm not quite sure of what's good, but i've been looking at a few options like the Corsair Gaming Void Pro Surround or the Arctis series, from 1-5. My upper limit is around 800NOK, but i'm very willing to spend less than that ^^ So i thought, do you guys have any reccomendations? The site i'm using to look at options is this: https://www.prisjakt.no/category.php?k=148
  4. @quiprr Hey thanks man! But, as much as i'd love that PSU that one is ATX, and i need an SFX PSU in the Node 202
  5. @Boinbo Uh, you see Norway is weird, there's a sale going on so that motherboard is the cheapest i can find lol. I'm stuffing it into the Node 202, which is my major concern, think i've checked that everything fits, but i want to make sure 100% I'll go for 3000mhz RAM though, thanks for the help!
  6. Yoyo peeps, so i have this build planned out, it's one of the best for the buck i could make out because norway and shipping costs is weird, what do you guys think of this? I'm buying a used GPU, which is pretty cheap over here, so even though it looks as a bad deal it's a good one over here ^^ I love constructive critisism boys, hit me up! 7. As long as you have the original reciept you have the included warranty ^^ It's all good.
  8. @seon123 Hey man, thanks for the help! Things are a bit more expensive here in Norway, so i think those prices are great! Actually dove into it, i think i will go with the used cards as their price is great here in norway, and i actually found out i have warranties on them! The 2200G is a great tip, but it will cost about the same with the motherboard differences. Also i'll save money on a cooler, so thanks! It got to be about 100 NOK cheaper with an awesome motherboard and with the stock cooler, idunno, it seems great for me! Also, @Firewrath9, i will definitely follow your advice, the used graphics card market is weird here in Norway, so it's cheaper for me and better for my case to go with a RX 570 for 1000 NOK!
  9. Yo peeps, i have a quick question! Trying to build myself a small rig for gaming, and the Fractal Design Node 202 with the 450w psu seems like a great deal, it'd save me some money which is great. Now the thing i'm asking about; is the PSU in the Node 202 any good? I'd like to pair it with an i3 8100 and an RX 570 or a 1050ti, something along those lines! I live in Norway so some prices are a bit different. I might also buy a mining card used for 1 year, should still have some warranty, right? If any norwegians stumble across this, this is my list i've set up without the Node 202: https://classic.prisjakt.no/list.php?l=588642&view=l To save some money, maybe one of these two too (also in norwegian) : https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=147458613 or one of these https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=150338469 Tell me what you think!
  10. You're 14 and can afford this? Holy crackers that is bonkers
  11. Hi guys, because of wierd norwegian prices, i've decided to combo the Corsair 16GB (2-KIT) DDR4 2666MHz Vengeance LED kit with an MSI b350 Tomahawk motherboard. I'm looking at the compatability list for the motherboard, and i've got the model number CMU16GX4M2A2666C16R from the website i'll order from. I do not know too much about the decoding of those model numbers and i'm wondering if they'll be compatible. Hope someone can help me that knows more than i do! Building a computer for my older brother.
  12. I'd suggest creating another thread for that, i know little about monitors
  13. Or you could go with the Ryzen + 1070? If i was you i'd go for 1440p 60Hz though, but hey that's just me. If you're not opt-ing for 1440p you could easily save a couple of hundred bucks for 1080p 60Hz, and probably the more reasonable choice. I don't see why you should have a 1070 + a 1080p 60Hz monitor as @RadiatingLight seems to have suggested though. If you're going with a ryzen + 1070 (1440p) or 580 (1080p) i'd run with his build though, looks great to me ^^
  14. If there is a local 3D-printer you could probably use that to print a cover
