fiberzs is dad reacted to BuckGup in 1440p is a huge upgrade, it's night and day from 1080p
Not isn't the same at all. You can't physically change the number of pixels on the screen. All you do is screw up windows scaling and make games much harder to run

fiberzs is dad reacted to JPotze in Building a new PC
Hello and welcome to this forum. Feel welcome in this place to share your opinions and knowledge. But i think begging for money is not really appreciated.
Just take a job, save some money and then when you buy your first pc, you can really say that you worked hard to have a nice appliance.

and the cpu cooler will fit but you could always go with an aio like this http://www.amazon.in/Corsair-Performance-Liquid-CW-9060017-WW-LGA1150/dp/B00SV7IIDU/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1486651697&sr=1-1&keywords=H80i+GT

fiberzs is dad got a reaction from gawax in 1060 vs 980Ti
as for this one benchmark they are showing the 980 ti beating the 1070 but the 980ti is overclocked while the 1070 isn't, if you were to oc the 1070 it would beat the 980ti

fiberzs is dad reacted to PCGuy_5960 in 1060 vs 980Ti
But still, it will outperform it when both are overclocked.

fiberzs is dad reacted to Shmalaxandar in Wooden PC Case
What's up everyone!
So I'm a woodworker/furniture builder, and a huge gamer.
I'm planning on building a wooden pc case. No specific designs yet, but I'm not sure on what size I want it to be yet.
So that's where you come on. What size wood (haha get it) you guys like to see? ITX? mATX? Full sized? HTPC style? Open air?
Leave your comments below, or answer in the poll!
If this all goes over well, I may build some more in the future.

fiberzs is dad reacted to gtx1060=value in My friends really bad PC has something I have not seen before
don't use windows 10 - but looks very similar to the dialup logo - probably is dial up - although i don't see how he could even have dialup unless you live in rural russia

fiberzs is dad reacted to Megah3rtz in Is this a good pre built?
Don't get any pre-built with an FX series unless it has a 1060/480 and fx8350 for less than 400$.

fiberzs is dad reacted to Mooshi in Is this a good pre built?
I don't trust prebuilds, they NEVER go into detail for the parts and universally cheap out on the PSU.
Grab that Phanteks case and build your own.

fiberzs is dad reacted to MoonlightSylv in i just posted my ip on internet
Try and edit the post, then restart your router/modem, most ISPs give you a dynamic IP that switches when the router/modem is restarted.

fiberzs is dad reacted to SuperShermanTanker in i just posted my ip on internet
You'll be fine the chances of you being hacked are like one in a million because no one will want to hack a small little home PC and your PC and home network have somthing called a firewall that will flat out block anyone from the outside from trying to get into your network so your perfectly safe and some forums have the IP tracking thing and they show the IP to you but no one else but the people who run the site can see it so only the people who own the site will see it and they use it as just security to keep track of who visited the site and they keep it in a log file with a billion other IP addresses from every other user who visited the site and there are so many address in that log file that if anyone tried to hack every single address in that log file it would be like trying to hack every computer in New York city. So don't be concerned the site only tracks IP addresses for security reasons and doesn't display them publicly and can only be seen by the owner of the website. Also your own router and computer have a firewall and they are usually set to block anyone from the outside from trying to gain access to the network and it's nearly impossible to get past a firewall that denys you access to a network or machine.

That's where you are wrong it is pretty funny but if they wanted to hack you they could easily get to see your ip without you posting it don't worry nothing will happen.

I did this to mine:
While like the others said, it will throttle and not overheat, I figured why not keep the performance up and prevent the thermal throttling

fiberzs is dad reacted to manikyath in RGB parts list?
but why not?
(aside from that neither of those examples were sensible computers)
-
fiberzs is dad reacted to manikyath in RGB parts list?
which is honestly a complete waste of money, it makes your computer look like a disgrace of a christmas tree, which is actually not even lit up properly. on top of RGB stuff costing a stupid amount of extra money, requiring a different piece of software for every component, and essentially being a nightmare to make them match.
EDIT: in other words, do you want to do RGB sensibly, or do you want a nausea-inducing disaster of a christmas tree?

fiberzs is dad reacted to Himommies in RGB parts list?
Also the fact that too much lighting comig from too many sources makes your Pc look terrible and makes it very expensive

first buy a sensible PC, then spend 20 bucks on a reel of chinese RGB lighting, it's.. shocking:
