  1. Buy 20 cables from the dollar store. Problem solved.
  2. cool, i guess. An AIO would have been pretty cool though. Temps ain't everything
  3. i said that a 120 gig SSD and a 1 TB HDD costs the same as a 240 GB, so you can swap it and solve that problem
  4. Was just looking at that. Makes sense. What is the fan noise though?
  5. I would think if you bought a K SKU, you would overclock it. You probably still could, but if you maybe spent a little more, it would get a better overclock. not that it matters much.
  6. You can still substitute a 120GB and a 1TB instead of 240GB. It was just a suggestion, you know the 240gb costs 120 bucks? You can still replace it with a 120+1000. You ever heard of eBay?
  7. It's possible to squeeze an SSD in his budget, and is much better than an HDD. The i5 is SO much better than an i3 for gaming. And the motherboard has 4 RAM slots, you know. You can still upgrade to 16 gigs easily. No need for that anyway. Do you know what you're talking about? If he needs an HDD he can just carry forth an old one, just to store crap he won't read a lot.
  8. Zotac all the way! Or EVGA, I like their coolers as well. Gigabyte is ok, just not the best customer service. They're kind of all the same.
  9. Is that a 4-pin PWM header? Just plug it into the fan headers on your motherboard or the fan controller in your case if you have one. A splitter works, but using a splitter on a single header with 3 fans connected into it probably isn't the best idea.
  10. We don't appreciate stale memes on LTT forums. NORMIES GET OUT REEEEEEEEEEEEE
  11. What are you trying to prove? The 4GB 480 trails by a little bit in most games. Not worth the 30 cad difference. Did you watch the video? In most graphs the 4 GB is like, 5% difference, even less in most cases, and that falls within the margin of error in some cases.
  12. you can use a Kaby Lake with 100 series mobos with a simple BIOS update, I think you can just use another computer and load the ROM on to a stick, don't count me on that.
  13. Well, what games would you be playing with the 480? I don't see why 4 gigs wouldn't be enough. GTA V uses around 3 at max settings, and thats a hefty game.
