I play at 1440p, not 4K. Just too old to want to deal with stutter or low fps. I just want to have the best experience. If the 6900XT is enough for now, I'll stay with it. Maybe I'll OC it. Thanks.

If I sold my 6900XT, I can probably get $500 for it and a new 4070TI is around $769. So, is it worth $269 to upgrade to the 4070TI? Or do I need to move to the 4080 to really see the difference? Or wait for the 5000 series?

I have a few drives on my PC and I put my games on a particular SSD. I looked at it today and there is a Windows folder in it with some real windows programs. No idea what its doing there and I still have Windows on my C drive. Any idea WTF is going on? Did I accidentally copy some of the Windows folder here? Its a 6900Xt, its not my hardware. With Edge it runs fine, its just firefox that doesn't work right.

I was using edge browser, which worked fine. I wanted to try Firefox again, but while gaming on one monitor, youtube on another monitor studders often. This doesn't happen on Edge. I really want to use firefox, what do you think the issue is? Thanks

Do you have to search for the driver or did Ubuntu do all the heavy lifting? I am not opposed to Ubuntu.

I have a Micro ATX board which is 24.4cm x 21.5cm. The case I am looking at will accept 9.6” x 9.6” (Micro ATX). 9.6" = 24.384cm. That seems like a tight fit. Less than 1.5cm space. Thanks

Yup, my Mac uses a I5-2400. I installed Manjaro. Works like a charm.

I downloaded the drivers on my windows PC and put it on a flash drive. Dragged it to my desktop in Kubuntu (latest version) and tried to install, but can't figure this out. I did chmod +x install.sh and it seemed to work, but when I do ./install.sh the realtek autoinstallation script starts. Looked like there is an error in the script. I have a X5670 and a X5690, it was fun to play with, but I use a 5800X3D with a RX 6900XT for gaming.

I gave up on it. It was cool when no one had 6 core 12 thread CPUs, as the most you got was 4/8. But things have changed and its not really worth playing with anymore.

They just replaced the panels. I was able to make the case work. There was a screw holding the clip in that had to be removed.

I have a fully build system which is a good starting point. Just need a better GPU. I want to sell it or part it out. Which makes more sense? Its a Ryzen 1700 with 16GB of DDR4-3000 ram and a GTX760. I know the GPU is old, but I sold my R9 Fury X that was in it. I guess the 760 is just a placeholder. I recently updated my main computer and have components that I was going to sell, but they are compatible wth that computer. Ryzen 3900x and a RTX 2070. Should I put those in my computer for sale and sell it like that? or just sell them individually? a 3900x and a 2070 makes for a very capable 1440p gaming rig.

So, I have a torrent. The right side panel shattered while I was working on the PC. It tipped over and having the psu on top made it easy to topple over. Fractal design offered a few one, I said fine. 3 weeks later and no new panel, The left side panel shattered as I was holding it in my hand. No dropping, banging, etc. Insane, was.no reason why it would break. I never removed the right panel because it was full of broken glass and it was all contained in the plastic coating. When I tried to remove it, the clip which fastens the panel.to the case.on top was jammed in there. I could not remove it and as I tried,.glass was falling all over the place. I finally had to use pliers to get it off, but I had.to kind of tear off the tab that was jammed. Fractal is offering me two new panels, but the case itself is damaged. Not sure if the right panel will fit or sit properly. What.would you do? Ask for a manager? I bought it in December, it should have a warranty? What should I do? Complain? This thing was over $200

I bought the G.Skill flaire X series (3200mhz 14-14-14-34) a few years ago for my Ryzen 1700. Now, I have a 5800X3D and I am still using that same ram. Is there better ram than the flair? The timing is super tight and I read that 3200 is the way to go with the Ryzen. I want the best since I have the best CPU for gaming and an AMD RX6900XT, might as well have the best ram, or is the flair still best? Thanks

Found my GTX760! In a box under a box under a box! Moving sucks. ..and it works! I'm not gaming with this rig, its mostly just offloading my davinchi rending stuff when I want to game on my main rig and don't care if it takes a little longer. (Main rig: 5800X3D + RX6800XT) This is a Ryzen 1700 and that 760. Not bad for basic stuff.

It is from Ebay, so I put in for a refund. I don't want to work that hard. Another 580X? Or is it all scammy? My old GTX970 seems to be dead. I have a 760 somewhere, but I can't find it ;(

Does the power draw look weird to you?

Checked and the bios version according to GPU-Z is a standard bios. Also the sticker on the GPU is all beat up, can't tell which manufacturer it is. I just checked the ebay posting and I didn't realize it said the HDMI is not working, because I am using the HDMI port. Seems to be working. Bought a used RX580. It seems to work, windows is up and running. Can't seem to get any drivers I install to work. I installed the regular adrenaline drivers then I did the auto detect and it installed enterprise drivers. 3DMark says no compatible benchmarks found. The AMD software won't load either. I used to have an R9 Fury X in this thing that worked fine. Also had a GTX970 and it worked fine. Did I get scammed on Ebay? Is this some reflashed card or something? Shows up as an AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP in GPU-Z. Should I do that AMD driver removal program and try to reinstall? First time using it. Also, when I try to run the AMD software I get a warning that the version of AMD softwareL Adrenaline edition you have launched is not compatible with with your currently installed graphics driver. Please check your system for other versions of AMD software... I did the AMD driver removal tool. What is going on??
