  1. Yeah, I just hit a problem, where no TVs from the reviews are available in my country, and I cannot find no reviews of the TVs actually available on rtings.com or anywhere for what it's worth, so I guess I just have to eyeball it now... I got to these ones https://www.alza.sk/porovnani.htm?c=WK690f1m1;WR180j1;WR180k1;WC389s1a;
  2. Thanks for replying. I intend to play racing games, maybe some GTA as well, nothing fast or precision based. I see what you mean with the size, but grabbing a 75'' model will set me back double of my budget, so I really doubt it is worth such an extra. So I reckon, I should go for a 65'' then. What about the frequencies though? As far as I know, HDMI won't do more than 60Hz, so what's up with that fuzz about 100Hz? Or is it just the TVs processing of the image?
  3. Hey guys! I am currently struggling with the question of what TV to buy. I am looking for some affordable (~$500), 4K Smart TV, with two main uses - Netflix and 1080p PC gaming. Viewing distance would be 10-11 feet, so I'm looking at a range 50"-65". Not sure if 50Hz and 100Hz are a really huge difference when dealing with TV panels and if it's worth the money. If so, consider the budget a bit higher. Also, the blacks are really important, but I know nothing about the TVs display technologies. Thanks
  4. Any recommendations guys please? Title is self-explanatory Thanks!
  5. I have this weird issue where I cannot use the TAB key to navigate in Google Instant Predictions, it just moves me to the on-screen option, not down towards the "predictions". It works in the address bar just fine though. Got any tips? Thanks in advance
  6. Thanks for replying. Personally, I don't really like earbuds. Will buy noise cancelling than. Have a great day
  7. I just wanted to ask you guys with more experience, whether the noise cancelling headphones work on subways, trams and trains in general. I am using subway and trams daily, trains couple times per month, 4 hour journey. I would like to know, whether it is worth to go for something pricier, in terms of Bose QC 35 II or just to stay in budget, possibly something like Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT. Thank you for your time Edit: I just found Bose for 250€ ($280)
  8. Out of the blue, my secondary drive, regular WD Blue 3TB, slowed down. When using Windows File Explorer it says "Working on it..." and takes like a minute to open up the contents of anything on the drive. It is also terribly slow in transfer speeds. S.M.A.R.T. says nothing, CrystalDiskInfo neither. Any ideas as to what went wrong?
  9. I tried the one down in, got some good deals, the one over at left me wasted and I just visited that one bigger over by the... Was nice a tour ? nvm then, I'm just wondering casue in Slovakia it's pretty pricey and short in supply soooo
  10. I'm currently in Dublin, wondering what good tech stores here are, so I'm asking you. Would like to buy external battery and maybe new gpu... Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  11. I know about those, but I was wondering about completely ditching the front facing camera. Apparently, it won't happen, people like looking at themselves, or I dunno ??
  12. I was wondering, why someone won't just omit the front facing camera, put microphone on the very edge/bottom and fingerprint scanner in the back, for a complete bezel-less phone. There has to be at least one company, or? Is the camera so important?
  13. I got another set of cables, didn't help. I tried to fix it on software side and discovered that when I set both monitors on 60Hz, the lines disappear, yet when I put one on 60 and the other on 144Hz they reappear. Thus, cables are not the issue and neither is the monitor. I was thinking maybe the GPU cannot handle such amount of Hz, but it adds up to 205Hz. I have read articles about people running 240Hz panels off 1060, so I am really lost now. Maybe it has something to do with syncing different frequencies, I dunno. You got any idea, pal? Thanks in advance.
  14. I'm using strix 1060, and haven't heard of UMPH (except for Roblox memes xd), but it has four outputs and would be shameful if it haven't handeled it...
  15. This is a weird one. My setup consists of 2 monitors, one connected via HDMI, one via DP. When both connected, the one with DP shows some weird horizontal lines, but when I disconnect the second one, it works just fine. I was thinking that maybe either cable is malfunction, or that they may be interfering with each other. I'm now ordering new set of cables to try out, for I don't have second cable of either type. What do you think?
