Should I take MSI GP62 6QF laptop for this price?
dea2k replied to dea2k's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
ok I took that msi gp62 6qf laptop. And it is with 2 coolers/cooling vents. Mostly all photos on all websites are stock ones with 950m instead 960m i guess. I love already performance of this laptop. -

Another strange thing, I contacted cclonline.com and they said it has 2 cooling fans + 2 cooling vent. But on pictures in description it shows 1 cooling vent + 1 fake one. I am completely lost here because of it. -
Has anyone heard of cyberpowersystem.co.uk gaming laptops?

damn I was blind it means I will not take msi one probably. I don't think that single fan is enough to keep temperatures down as much as I want. It is so hard to find a damn laptop with i7/960m/8gb and double vents cooling up to 800 Pounds. Meanwhile In US you can get it like around 950 USD. -

but this laptop weight is 2.3kg, the one I am thinking to buy is 2.6kg weight. Also on msi site there are 2 types of msi gp62 6qf, and the one with 2.6kg pictures looks like it has 2 coolers. -

Good to hear it then. But there is other small issue. I bought a laptop from novatech (another clevo reseller in uk) and had terrible cooling. My even old Asus laptop which had similar specs did much better job at cooling. So since I never saw PCSpecialist name before, I am not sure if I want go with Clevo reseller again. Meanwhile I had good experience with MSI products. -

I am interested actually in optimus vii and that msi gp62 laptops. the issue with pcspecialist that building time+shipping take some time and also I can't fit into 800GBP with i7 cpu + 8gb ram unless I drop disk drive + os. And since I hve only legit win7, skylake cpu has issues with win7.
