I went into ms config and changed the number of cores to 4 and it completely messed it up, only 2 cores were recognized unless i need to set it to 8 because of the threads
Had a mate that bought a really decent pc for 100 including monitor, keyboard, mouse. Specs were (off my head) Core2Quad, GTX 280, 4GB of RAM and a 500 Gb HDD, oh and a ASUS PQ5L-E motherboard
Using Intel Extreme Tuning Utility, to stress test the cpu, i only get 2 cores used at 100 % load, has never been 2+, recently bought PC used.
