  1. I just built a computer but I want to take the hard drive out of my old dell computer which has an operating system on the drive. Does anybody know if you can use a new hard drive and os in a dell with no issues? I know it should work fine but I was just wondering if anyone has done this before and had any issues? Thanks!
  2. Do you have any knowledge if having a non-updates bios will pose any issues, as this motherboard hasn't been run yet?
  3. I don't have a cpu for that system so from no cpu, will that make a difference?
  4. I'm asking about the 7600k though, if that will work in a skylake motherboard.
  5. Well I'm building a system which needs a cpu and it was between the 6600k and the 7600k which I would think is a better cpu for the cost
  6. I am running a Gigabyte z170x ud3 ultra motherboard which is the lga 1151 chipset. Has anyone else tested or tried the newest intel 6700k processor in a skylake motherboard and had success? Even though this motherboard came out when the 6600k was current.
  7. I like how you guys are still talking about this post a day after it happened, and I think ill end up going with the cloud II. I like what I see for it. And opinion has a big part of audio, some people may hear things differently. I like my turtle beach headset, the only thing I want a new one for is a better mic. But do you guys ever think that maybe people who have hearing damage (used as an example) may hear something a little different than you? So the kraken may sound much better to them but not to you. Also there may be to much bass in the headphones for instance, my turtle beach headset has a bass control on it and I don't see that on any other headset and some people may not like the amount of base that one headset has vs another. So I would say that it is an opinion, and telling someone their opinion is wrong and you are the only one who is right is just ridiculous. Not everyone is exactly the same either so your hearing could be a little different from someone elses. "Technically" doesn't matter what matters is if someone likes it or not, that's what I was asking originally, for someone to recommend a headset not everyone has tried every headset out there.
  8. What the actual fuck, I read all those comments and I must say I am ashamed to share these forums with people like you. Why do people automatically become assholes when it comes to headphones? He recommended headphones that he has tried, not everyone can try every pair of headphones. I have a turtle beach headset and I think the audio is pretty good but I know the mic is shit. Given I haven't tried every headset out there so I don't have much to compare them to. I remember recommending these to someone on here before because they have good quality audio from what I have tried and they are really cheap. Does that make my opinion wrong? Just because I think they are good and you don't agree doesn't mean that the person who buys them wont be happy with them, maybe you should think about that instead of being so closed minded.
  9. Can anyone recommend a gaming headset with good audio and mic quality for under $100? Thanks!
  10. With the weird configuration of hard drive spaces in my case I was thinking about using molex to power a couple of my hard drives, then someone showed me a picture of someone who tried that and ended up completely frying their hard drives. https://imgur.com/a/Avbnw Has anyone has this problem before, or used molex to power with any luck? Thanks!
  11. well I think ill give that a shot then which will solve my problem with the sata connectors. Thanks!
  12. Wow yeah that doesn't look good. Do you know if its possible to get a sata power extender? or if the technology for that system is any better than it was before (2015 in the pictures)
