  1. Acer one will have better Pixel density, so it will look better overall, and 180hz is evidently better than the 144hz cap on the other one. Inho I would get the 34" one just because I like both competitive and story based games, and playing more relaxed or layed back on my chair with a controller would be better on a bigger monitor. If you would be playing strictly competitive/fps, then stick to the Acer one
  2. Check the comments, there's people that are saying exactly what you're asking. It is SATA.
  3. Check your running in high performance windows power management mode, check your ram is actually running at 3000*hz, check for driver updates and pretty much all system drivers, like chipset, gpu drivers, etc.
  4. I had one of those monitors, and display got ruined after moving to a new place ? What I did notice tho, is that when running the monitor at full 144hz, I could see red color artifacts, like you have stated, but not that much. Maybe try lowering down to 120hz from the monitor OSD, and test like that, I know youre losing 20 fps, but its better to not squeeze your monitor if its having difficulty to display at 144hz. (At least that's what I did and had no artifacts/issues after lowering to 120)
  5. It seems like you havent connected the front panel cables, so the power/reset button and such, wont work
  6. LOL and CSGO most likely yes, witcher and MW wont , unless u run at mid/low settings, you can still play, even if you dont reach the full 165 hz, and upgrade your GPU later on
  7. Reset BIOS, by jumping the CMOS pins or removing the BIOS battery.
  8. U need to change the timings also, I was having same issue, until I started to move the timing values, and made it work at 2999 mhz, do a google search for your RAM model about the recommended timings that you should set them to
  9. I think I got it now, squeezed an i5 6600k Little off budget, but doable in a way. https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B01J1M4HDS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AZXJLHU8K91Y&coliid=I1S0YT8MB9LUFG RX 460 2800.00 MXN - 3200.00 MXN https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B012M8M7TY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AZXJLHU8K91Y&coliid=IH5QYO5SL2HTP i5 6600K 4085.00 MXN https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B01B72VXE6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AZXJLHU8K91Y&coliid=I1DNOXKUEXSO16 PSU Corsair 450w 930.00 MXN https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B01FJ4UL2S/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AZXJLHU8K91Y&coliid=ICGHK9K38OKIA Intel SSDNow 240gb 1114.00 MXN https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B01D8U27YU/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3AZXJLHU8K91Y&coliid=IQQE66H67VTU 8gb DDR4 RAM 724.00 MXN http://www.digitalife.com.mx/producto/24559/gabinete-corsair-micro-atx-88r-ventana-sin-fuente-usb-3-0-negro-cc-9011086-ww Corsair Case 952.00 MXN http://www.digitalife.com.mx/producto/23905/motherboard-gigabyte-ga-h110m-s2ph-socket-lga-1151-micro-atx-intel-h110-usb-3-1-ddr4-ga-h110m-s2ph Motherboard 1218.00 MXN So it adds up to 11,823.00 MXN I guess I will start buying components soon Thanks a lot guys! 10. In digitalife ASUS GeForce GTX 950 2GB is 3,411MXN http://www.digitalife.com.mx/producto/19221/tarjeta-de-video-asus-geforce-gtx-950-2gb-gddr5-pci-express-sli-strix-gtx950-dc2oc-2gd5-gaming
  11. Didnt think about buying at amazon, im checking http://www.digitalife.com.mx/ for this, as i have bought in that store before, prices are not that bad and its really trustworthy. But I´ll take a look on the parts you picked and see if I can squeeze in an i5. Thanks!
  12. Approximately yes, around 915-950 MXN depending on the day, the rates are going up and down, from 18MXN to 19MXN = 1USD
  13. Hi all, this is my first post in this forum, and i would like to ask for help on my planning. I currently game on console, but found 2 old PCs (1 with celeron and another with a Pentium4 at 3.4) Long story short I took apart both PCs and mixed the best components for both, so I ended with the Pentium4 at 3.2ghz, 2 gb of DDR2 RAM, a 250W PSU, and a GeForce 610 GPU. This PC runs good, having the dated components, I can even run MW2 and Halo2 with decent settings. Now, the real question is... (Im in mexico, so ill put prices in MXN 1 USD = 19MXN approx) Im planning to build a new PC for gaming and ocassional work as programmer, with a tight budget (10,000MXN aprox), so i was planning on getting: G1.sniper.a88x motherboard for 1926.00 MXN SAPPHIRE Radeon NITRO R7 370 4GB GDDR5 for 3272.00 MXN AMD A10-7890K 4.1 GHz with wraith coller included for 2956.00 MXN Decent EAGLE WARRIOR Robot X case for 900 MXN 8GB of Kingston HyperX Fury 1866Mhz for 715 MXN EVGA 600W 80 plus silver for 1172.00 MXN SSD ADATA Premier SP550 240GB Sata3 for 1242MXN HDD i will use the WD 500GB that i have running in the Pentium 4 machine and expand later on. Now all this adds up to 11283MXN, a little off budget due to the R7 370, but what I really wnat to ask is , shall I go for this build, which i will be completing in the next 2 or 3 months, or, buy just the r7 370, use it in my old PC build (I know it will get bottlenecked) and wait for ZEN to be released??? I really love this forum, digging around the experiences with non techies when bored at work LOL! I appreciate you guys taking a look in advance! (Remember I´m mexican and English is my second language, so be patient)
