  1. after searching i had to go to barrowint.com but this is the pump top i have installed and on top of that looks like a 25cm res that screws into it. i showed @W-L and we concluded the pump looks and is claimed to be a d5 but it really is not so im not sure if it can take a d5 with my combo. otherwise im happy to ditch the chinese cheapo pump and use something from aquacomp
  2. so in a day or so when the paint is fully set on my core x9 from TT im going to move out of the helish inwin509 and put all my stuff in that system with my other rad etc. i just didnt want to have a pressure issue if i say got a pump res combo from ekwb for it to try and fail on me
  3. the main fault i have with barrow is there wannabe d5 pump it sounds shit, makes shit pressure and i just want out atm i have a pump and res combo attached to my 360 rad
  4. That's the same as my chip at the same temp, speed and voltage
  5. I was thinking a back up pump as well as using it to increase water flow pressure since they can be used to push the same body of water and I plan to add some more 360mm rad to my system
  6. looking at a new pump whats your thoughts on this? EK-XTOP Revo Dual D5
  7. Yea this is all you have to do 100% I've used ek cryofuel red. Never again. It's the most lack luster red very dull and kg u have at all any distilled water in your rads after flushing etc it makes the red more and more pink. Plus takes a while to flush that stuff out as it sticks around I've had 3 vinegar and distilled water passes already and it's still in there.
  8. If you don't have enough go to the hardware store and buy m3 25mm-30mm screws just size it up for length
  9. I personally am not a fan of the d5 pump they make I don't know what it is but it vibrates like crazy and u can hear it loud. Other then that I only buy their res and rads and hard tube fittings
  10. i dont use hw monitor much so i cant really tell hopefully this is helpful for you
  11. about 90c is where you should be woried at max. 80 and below is where i would be comfortable. its to be expected with a AIO EDIT: added idle and load temps for my 6700k
  12. keep dialing it down until the system starts to need more power. i think my board is running my 6700k at 4.4ghz on what ever voltage it deems ok. but i got a big rad setup so it compensates for any extra voltage heat.
  13. i didnt have my waterblock on tight when i got it the temps changed when i realigned and put more tightness on the screws
  14. if there is a loose fit on the cooler there might have been a air gap where a good transfer was taking place. u basically have to hand tighten it all to where u cant tighten it anymore. just dont do it with a screw driver if you know what i mean
  15. linus would still drop it and end the world lmao. i used a deepcool 120mm, most deepcool aio support 1366 pins, i think so does the H series with corsair. if not grab a beefy second hand or new air cooler. i used to have the x5670 and used a thors hammer for about 8 months at 50c load.
  16. these! or you could try fractal design r3 / r2 fans but not sure on its pressure output. i used them at one point and didnt have a issue
  17. some come with drain ports like some of the deepcool systems have them. i always assumed u could refill them. or do what jesse at jpmodified does and just cut the tube and do it by hand with new tubing
  18. i have a barrow block and it has all the rgb etc etc and its ok for what i need but i feel i should get better temps with my setup. 70c on load with no OC ? on a 6700k is that normal? i have push pull 6x120mm corsair maglev fans running at full speed on a 360mm x 60mm rad. should i switch to a EK block and put this block to use on something less demanding like my wifes i5?
  19. sounds something like my setup only i have a 120x60 instead of the 240x60. get about 40c on my oc 1080 ti and 6700k cpu gets about 70 on max load in premier
  20. barrow is not that bad could be worst a NO named Chinese part that will leak something cheap off ebay. ive been using a res/pump combo with barrow, never had a issue. ive never had barrow leak not even once on my first build. the only water issue was me getting coolant on my shirt due to a air bubble. im not in NA so not sure if these are good prices but i think this does what u need just pick which one u like. they all do the same =/ CLICK HERE
